36And He was also telling them a parable: "No one tears a piece of cloth from a new garment and puts it on an old garment; otherwise he will both tear the new, and the piece from the new will not match the old.
13And when day came, He called His disciples to Him and chose twelve of them, whom He also named as apostles:14Simon, whom He also named Peter, and Andrew his brother; and James and John; and Philip and Bartholomew;
32"If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them.33"If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.34"If you lend to those from whom you expect to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners in order to receive back the same amount.
25And He said to them, "Where is your faith?" They were fearful and amazed, saying to one another, "Who then is this, that He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey Him?"26Then they sailed to the country of the Gerasenes, which is opposite Galilee.
4'And forgive us our sins, For we ourselves also forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation.' "5Then He said to them, "Suppose one of you has a friend, and goes to him at midnight and says to him, 'Friend, lend me three loaves;
8"I tell you, even though he will not get up and give him anything because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence he will get up and give him as much as he needs.9"So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
45One of the lawyers said to Him in reply, "Teacher, when You say this, You insult us too."46But He said, "Woe to you lawyers as well! For you weigh men down with burdens hard to bear, while you yourselves will not even touch the burdens with one of your fingers.
7"Indeed , the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear; you are more valuable than many sparrows.8"And I say to you, everyone who confesses Me before men, the Son of Man will confess him also before the angels of God;
7"And he said to the vineyard-keeper, 'Behold, for three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree without finding any. Cut it down! Why does it even use up the ground?'8"And he answered and said to him, 'Let it alone, sir, for this year too, until I dig around it and put in fertilizer;
25"Once the head of the house gets up and shuts the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock on the door, saying, 'Lord , open up to us!' then He will answer and say to you, 'I do not know where you are from.'
12And He also went on to say to the one who had invited Him, "When you give a luncheon or a dinner, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors, otherwise they may also invite you in return and that will be your repayment.
21and longing to be fed with the crumbs which were falling from the rich man's table; besides, even the dogs were coming and licking his sores.22"Now the poor man died and was carried away by the angels to Abraham's bosom; and the rich man also died and was buried.
23'Then why did you not put my money in the bank, and having come, I would have collected it with interest?'24"Then he said to the bystanders, 'Take the mina away from him and give it to the one who has the ten minas.'
42saying, "If you had known in this day, even you, the things which make for peace! But now they have been hidden from your eyes.43"For the days will come upon you when your enemies will throw up a barricade against you, and surround you and hem you in on every side,
58A little later, another saw him and said, "You are one of them too!" But Peter said, "Man, I am not!"59After about an hour had passed, another man began to insist, saying, "Certainly this man also was with Him, for he is a Galilean too."
35And the people stood by, looking on. And even the rulers were sneering at Him, saying, "He saved others; let Him save Himself if this is the Christ of God, His Chosen One."36The soldiers also mocked Him, coming up to Him, offering Him sour wine
21"But we were hoping that it was He who was going to redeem Israel. Indeed, besides all this, it is the third day since these things happened.22"But also some women among us amazed us. When they were at the tomb early in the morning,23and did not find His body, they came, saying that they had also seen a vision of angels who said that He was alive.24"Some of those who were with us went to the tomb and found it just exactly as the women also had said; but Him they did not see."
