15 "For he will be great in the sight of the Lord ; and he will drink no wine or liquor, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit while yet in his mother's womb.
36 "And behold, even your relative Elizabeth has also conceived a son in her old age; and she who was called barren is now in her sixth month.
50 "AND HIS MERCY IS UPON GENERATION AFTER GENERATION TOWARD THOSE WHO FEAR HIM.
66 All who heard them kept them in mind, saying, "What then will this child turn out to be?" For the hand of the Lord was certainly with him.
4 Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the city of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family of David,
16 So they came in a hurry and found their way to Mary and Joseph, and the baby as He lay in the manger.
28 then he took Him into his arms, and blessed God, and said,
35 and a sword will pierce even your own soul -to the end that thoughts from many hearts may be revealed."
46 Then, after three days they found Him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both listening to them and asking them questions.
9 "Indeed the axe is already laid at the root of the trees; so every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire."
12 And some tax collectors also came to be baptized, and they said to him, "Teacher, what shall we do?"
20 Herod also added this to them all: he locked John up in prison. 21 Now when all the people were baptized, Jesus was also baptized, and while He was praying, heaven was opened,
23 And He said to them, "No doubt you will quote this proverb to Me, 'Physician, heal yourself! Whatever we heard was done at Capernaum, do here in your hometown as well.' "
38 Then He got up and left the synagogue, and entered Simon's home. Now Simon's mother-in-law was suffering from a high fever, and they asked Him to help her.
41 Demons also were coming out of many, shouting, "You are the Son of God!" But rebuking them, He would not allow them to speak, because they knew Him to be the Christ.
43 But He said to them, "I must preach the kingdom of God to the other cities also, for I was sent for this purpose." 44 So He kept on preaching in the synagogues of Judea.
10 and so also were James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, "Do not fear, from now on you will be catching men."
33 And they said to Him, "The disciples of John often fast and offer prayers, the disciples of the Pharisees also do the same, but Yours eat and drink."
36 And He was also telling them a parable: "No one tears a piece of cloth from a new garment and puts it on an old garment; otherwise he will both tear the new, and the piece from the new will not match the old.
6 On another Sabbath He entered the synagogue and was teaching; and there was a man there whose right hand was withered.
13 And when day came, He called His disciples to Him and chose twelve of them, whom He also named as apostles: 14 Simon, whom He also named Peter, and Andrew his brother; and James and John; and Philip and Bartholomew;

32 "If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners love those who love them. 33 "If you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same. 34 "If you lend to those from whom you expect to receive, what credit is that to you? Even sinners lend to sinners in order to receive back the same amount.
39 And He also spoke a parable to them: "A blind man cannot guide a blind man, can he? Will they not both fall into a pit?
8 "For I also am a man placed under authority, with soldiers under me; and I say to this one, 'Go!' and he goes, and to another, 'Come!' and he comes, and to my slave, 'Do this!' and he does it."
11 Soon afterwards He went to a city called Nain; and His disciples were going along with Him, accompanied by a large crowd.
35 "Yet wisdom is vindicated by all her children."
48 Then He said to her, "Your sins have been forgiven." 49 Those who were reclining at the table with Him began to say to themselves, "Who is this man who even forgives sins?"
18 "So take care how you listen; for whoever has, to him more shall be given; and whoever does not have, even what he thinks he has shall be taken away from him."
22 Now on one of those days Jesus and His disciples got into a boat, and He said to them, "Let us go over to the other side of the lake." So they launched out.
25 And He said to them, "Where is your faith?" They were fearful and amazed, saying to one another, "Who then is this, that He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey Him?" 26 Then they sailed to the country of the Gerasenes, which is opposite Galilee.
39 "Return to your house and describe what great things God has done for you." So he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him.
4 "Whatever house you enter, stay there until you leave that city.
16 Then He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, He blessed them, and broke them, and kept giving them to the disciples to set before the people.
35 Then a voice came out of the cloud, saying, "This is My Son, My Chosen One; listen to Him!"
61 Another also said, "I will follow You, Lord ; but first permit me to say good-bye to those at home."
11 'Even the dust of your city which clings to our feet we wipe off in protest against you; yet be sure of this, that the kingdom of God has come near.'
17 The seventy returned with joy, saying, "Lord , even the demons are subject to us in Your name."
32 "Likewise a Levite also, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side.
1 It happened that while Jesus was praying in a certain place, after He had finished, one of His disciples said to Him, "Lord , teach us to pray just as John also taught his disciples."
4 'And forgive us our sins, For we ourselves also forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation.' " 5 Then He said to them, "Suppose one of you has a friend, and goes to him at midnight and says to him, 'Friend, lend me three loaves;
8 "I tell you, even though he will not get up and give him anything because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence he will get up and give him as much as he needs. 9 "So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

49 "For this reason also the wisdom of God said, 'I will send to them prophets and apostles, and some of them they will kill and some they will persecute,

18 "Then he said, 'This is what I will do: I will tear down my barns and build larger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods.
34 "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
40 "You too, be ready; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour that you do not expect." 41 Peter said, "Lord , are You addressing this parable to us, or to everyone else as well?"
54 And He was also saying to the crowds, "When you see a cloud rising in the west, immediately you say, 'A shower is coming,' and so it turns out.
57 "And why do you not even on your own initiative judge what is right?
59 "I say to you, you will not get out of there until you have paid the very last cent."
7 "And he said to the vineyard-keeper, 'Behold, for three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree without finding any. Cut it down! 25 "Once the head of the house gets up and shuts the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock on the door, saying, 'Lord , open up to us!' then He will answer and say to you, 'I do not know where you are from.'
9 and he who invited you both will come and say to you, 'Give your place to this man,' and then in disgrace you proceed to occupy the last place.
12 And He also went on to say to the one who had invited Him, "When you give a luncheon or a dinner, do not invite your friends or your brothers or your relatives or rich neighbors, otherwise they may also invite you in return and that will be your repayment.
26 "If anyone comes to Me, and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be My disciple.

20 "So he got up and came to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion for him, and ran and embraced him and kissed him.
1 Now He was also saying to the disciples, "There was a rich man who had a manager, and this manager was reported to him as squandering his possessions.
10 "He who is faithful in a very little thing is faithful also in much; and he who is unrighteous in a very little thing is unrighteous also in much.

4 "For a while he was unwilling ; but afterward he said to himself, 'Even though I do not fear God nor respect man,

3 Jesus answered and said to them, "I will also ask you a question, and you tell Me:
7 So they answered that they did not know where it came from.
12 "And he proceeded to send a third; and this one also they wounded and cast out.
15 "So they threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. What, then, will the owner of the vineyard do to them?
32 "Finally the woman died also.
37 "But that the dead are raised, even Moses showed, in the passage about the burning bush, where he calls the Lord THE GOD OF ABRAHAM, AND THE GOD OF ISAAC, AND THE GOD OF JACOB.
41 Then He said to them, "How is it that they say the Christ is David's son?
16 "But you will be betrayed even by parents and brothers and relatives and friends, and they will put some of you to death,
18 "Yet not a hair of your head will perish.
29 Then He told them a parable: "Behold the fig tree and all the trees;
31 "So you also, when you see these things happening, recognize that the kingdom of God is near.
6 So he consented, and began seeking a good opportunity to betray Him to them apart from the crowd.
24 And there arose also a dispute among them as to which one of them was regarded to be greatest.
33 But he said to Him, "Lord , with You I am ready to go both to prison and to death!"
36 And He said to them, "But now, whoever has a money belt is to take it along, likewise also a bag, and whoever has no sword is to sell his coat and buy one.
