65Fear came on all those living around them; and all these matters were being talked about in all the hill country of Judea.66All who heard them kept them in mind, saying, "What then will this child turn out to be?" For the hand of the Lord was certainly with him.
18And all who heard it wondered at the things which were told them by the shepherds.19But Mary treasured all these things, pondering them in her heart.20The shepherds went back, glorifying and praising God for all that they had heard and seen, just as had been told them.
38At that very moment she came up and began giving thanks to God, and continued to speak of Him to all those who were looking for the redemption of Jerusalem.39When they had performed everything according to the Law of the Lord , they returned to Galilee, to their own city of Nazareth.
15Now while the people were in a state of expectation and all were wondering in their hearts about John, as to whether he was the Christ,16John answered and said to them all, "As for me, I baptize you with water; but One is coming who is mightier than I, and I am not fit to untie the thong of His sandals; He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.
19But when Herod the tetrarch was reprimanded by him because of Herodias, his brother's wife, and because of all the wicked things which Herod had done,20Herod also added this to them all: he locked John up in prison.
36And amazement came upon them all, and they began talking with one another saying, "What is this message? For with authority and power He commands the unclean spirits and they come out."37And the report about Him was spreading into every locality in the surrounding district.
17One day He was teaching; and there were some Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting there, who had come from every village of Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem; and the power of the Lord was present for Him to perform healing.
17Jesus came down with them and stood on a level place; and there was a large crowd of His disciples, and a great throng of people from all Judea and Jerusalem and the coastal region of Tyre and Sidon,
16Fear gripped them all, and they began glorifying God, saying, "A great prophet has arisen among us!" and, "God has visited His people!"17This report concerning Him went out all over Judea and in all the surrounding district.18The disciples of John reported to him about all these things.
47When the woman saw that she had not escaped notice, she came trembling and fell down before Him, and declared in the presence of all the people the reason why she had touched Him, and how she had been immediately healed.
41"But give that which is within as charity, and then all things are clean for you.42"But woe to you Pharisees! For you pay tithe of mint and rue and every kind of garden herb, and yet disregard justice and the love of God; but these are the things you should have done without neglecting the others.
7"Indeed , the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear; you are more valuable than many sparrows.8"And I say to you, everyone who confesses Me before men, the Son of Man will confess him also before the angels of God;
48but the one who did not know it, and committed deeds worthy of a flogging, will receive but few. From everyone who has been given much, much will be required; and to whom they entrusted much, of him they will ask all the more.
2And Jesus said to them, "Do you suppose that these Galileans were greater sinners than all other Galileans because they suffered this fate?3"I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.4"Or do you suppose that those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them were worse culprits than all the men who live in Jerusalem?5"I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish."
27and He will say, 'I tell you, I do not know where you are from; DEPART FROM ME, ALL YOU EVILDOERS.'28"In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth when you see Abraham and Isaac and Jacob and all the prophets in the kingdom of God, but yourselves being thrown out.
10"But when you are invited, go and recline at the last place, so that when the one who has invited you comes, he may say to you, 'Friend, move up higher '; then you will have honor in the sight of all who are at the table with you.11"For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted."
13"And not many days later, the younger son gathered everything together and went on a journey into a distant country, and there he squandered his estate with loose living.14"Now when he had spent everything, a severe famine occurred in that country, and he began to be impoverished.
21And he said, "All these things I have kept from my youth."22When Jesus heard this, He said to him, "One thing you still lack; sell all that you possess and distribute it to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me."
3And He said, "Truly I say to you, this poor widow put in more than all of them;4for they all out of their surplus put into the offering; but she out of her poverty put in all that she had to live on."
35for it will come upon all those who dwell on the face of all the earth.36"But keep on the alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man."
48And all the crowds who came together for this spectacle, when they observed what had happened, began to return, beating their breasts.49And all His acquaintances and the women who accompanied Him from Galilee were standing at a distance, seeing these things.
44Now He said to them, "These are My words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things which are written about Me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled."
