15"For he will be great in the sight of the Lord ; and he will drink no wine or liquor, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit while yet in his mother's womb.16"And he will turn many of the sons of Israel back to the Lord their God.17"It is he who will go as a forerunner before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, TO TURN THE HEARTS OF THE FATHERS BACK TO THE CHILDREN, and the disobedient to the attitude of the righteous, so as to make ready a people prepared for the Lord ."
15When the angels had gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds began saying to one another, "Let us go straight to Bethlehem then, and see this thing that has happened which the Lord has made known to us."

18"THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD IS UPON ME, BECAUSE HE ANOINTED ME TO PREACH THE GOSPEL TO THE POOR. HE HAS SENT ME TO PROCLAIM RELEASE TO THE CAPTIVES, AND RECOVERY OF SIGHT TO THE BLIND, TO SET FREE THOSE WHO ARE OPPRESSED,19TO PROCLAIM THE FAVORABLE YEAR OF THE LORD ."
12While He was in one of the cities, behold, there was a man covered with leprosy; and when he saw Jesus, he fell on his face and implored Him, saying, "Lord , if You are willing, You can make me clean."
17One day He was teaching; and there were some Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting there, who had come from every village of Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem; and the power of the Lord was present for Him to perform healing.
6Now Jesus started on His way with them; and when He was not far from the house, the centurion sent friends, saying to Him, "Lord , do not trouble Yourself further, for I am not worthy for You to come under my roof;
1Now after this the Lord appointed seventy others, and sent them in pairs ahead of Him to every city and place where He Himself was going to come.2And He was saying to them, "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.
21At that very time He rejoiced greatly in the Holy Spirit, and said, "I praise You, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to infants. Yes, Father, for this way was well-pleasing in Your sight.
39She had a sister called Mary, who was seated at the Lord's feet, listening to His word.40But Martha was distracted with all her preparations; and she came up to Him and said, "Lord , do You not care that my sister has left me to do all the serving alone? Then tell her to help me."41But the Lord answered and said to her, "Martha, Martha, you are worried and bothered about so many things;
36"Be like men who are waiting for their master when he returns from the wedding feast, so that they may immediately open the door to him when he comes and knocks.37"Blessed are those slaves whom the master will find on the alert when he comes; truly I say to you, that he will gird himself to serve, and have them recline at the table, and will come up and wait on them.
41Peter said, "Lord , are You addressing this parable to us, or to everyone else as well?"42And the Lord said, "Who then is the faithful and sensible steward, whom his master will put in charge of his servants, to give them their rations at the proper time?43"Blessed is that slave whom his master finds so doing when he comes.
45"But if that slave says in his heart, 'My master will be a long time in coming,' and begins to beat the slaves , both men and women, and to eat and drink and get drunk;46the master of that slave will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know, and will cut him in pieces, and assign him a place with the unbelievers.47"And that slave who knew his master's will and did not get ready or act in accord with his will, will receive many lashes,
25"Once the head of the house gets up and shuts the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock on the door, saying, 'Lord , open up to us!' then He will answer and say to you, 'I do not know where you are from.'
21"And the slave came back and reported this to his master. Then the head of the household became angry and said to his slave, 'Go out at once into the streets and lanes of the city and bring in here the poor and crippled and blind and lame.'22"And the slave said, 'Master, what you commanded has been done, and still there is room.'23"And the master said to the slave, 'Go out into the highways and along the hedges, and compel them to come in, so that my house may be filled.
5The apostles said to the Lord , "Increase our faith!"6And the Lord said, "If you had faith like a mustard seed, you would say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and be planted in the sea '; and it would obey you.
