8 "Therefore bear fruits in keeping with repentance, and do not begin to say to yourselves, 'We have Abraham for our father,' for I say to you that from these stones God is able to raise up children to Abraham.
11 And he would answer and say to them, "The man who has two tunics is to share with him who has none; and he who has food is to do likewise."
33 In the synagogue there was a man possessed by the spirit of an unclean demon, and he cried out with a loud voice,
40 While the sun was setting, all those who had any who were sick with various diseases brought them to Him; and laying His hands on each one of them, He was healing them.
24 "But, so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins,"-He said to the paralytic -"I say to you, get up, and pick up your stretcher and go home."
33 "For John the Baptist has come eating no bread and drinking no wine, and you say, 'He has a demon!'
40 And Jesus answered him, "Simon, I have something to say to you." And he replied, "Say it, Teacher."
42 "When they were unable to repay, he graciously forgave them both. So which of them will love him more?"
6 "Other seed fell on rocky soil, and as soon as it grew up, it withered away, because it had no moisture.
8 "Other seed fell into the good soil, and grew up, and produced a crop a hundred times as great." As He said these things, He would call out, "He who has ears to hear, let him hear."
13 "Those on the rocky soil are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no firm root; they believe for a while, and in time of temptation fall away.
18 "So take care how you listen; for whoever has, to him more shall be given; and whoever does not have, even what he thinks he has shall be taken away from him."
27 And when He came out onto the land, He was met by a man from the city who was possessed with demons; and who had not put on any clothing for a long time, and was not living in a house, but in the tombs.
3 And He said to them, "Take nothing for your journey, neither a staff, nor a bag, nor bread, nor money; and do not even have two tunics apiece.
11 But the crowds were aware of this and followed Him; and welcoming them, He began speaking to them about the kingdom of God and curing those who had need of healing.
58 And Jesus said to him, "The foxes have holes and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head."
5 Then He said to them, "Suppose one of you has a friend, and goes to him at midnight and says to him, 'Friend, lend me three loaves; 6 for a friend of mine has come to me from a journey, and I have nothing to set before him';
4 "I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that have no more that they can do. 5 "But I will warn you whom to fear: fear the One who, after He has killed, has authority to cast into hell; yes, I tell you, fear Him!
17 "And he began reasoning to himself, saying, 'What shall I do, since I have no place to store my crops?'
19 'And I will say to my soul, "Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years to come; take your ease, eat, drink and be merry."'
50 "But I have a baptism to undergo, and how distressed I am until it is accomplished!
6 And He began telling this parable: "A man had a fig tree which had been planted in his vineyard; and he came looking for fruit on it and did not find any.
11 And there was a woman who for eighteen years had had a sickness caused by a spirit; and she was bent double, and could not straighten up at all.
33 "Nevertheless I must journey on today and tomorrow and the next day; for it cannot be that a prophet would perish outside of Jerusalem.
14 and you will be blessed, since they do not have the means to repay you; for you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous."
18 "But they all alike began to make excuses. The first one said to him, 'I have bought a piece of land and I need to go out and look at it; please consider me excused.' 19 "Another one said, 'I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I am going to try them out; please consider me excused.'
28 "For which one of you, when he wants to build a tower, does not first sit down and calculate the cost to see if he has enough to complete it?
35 "It is useless either for the soil or for the manure pile; it is thrown out. He who has ears to hear, let him hear."
4 "What man among you, if he has a hundred sheep and has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open pasture and go after the one which is lost until he finds it?
8 "Or what woman, if she has ten silver coins and loses one coin, does not light a lamp and sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it?
11 And He said, "A man had two sons.
1 Now He was also saying to the disciples, "There was a rich man who had a manager, and this manager was reported to him as squandering his possessions.
28 for I have five brothers -in order that he may warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.' 29 "But Abraham said, 'They have Moses and the Prophets; let them hear them.'
6 And the Lord said, "If you had faith like a mustard seed, you would say to this mulberry tree, 'Be uprooted and be planted in the sea '; and it would obey you. 7 "Which of you, having a slave plowing or tending sheep, will say to him when he has come in from the field, 'Come immediately and sit down to eat'?
22 When Jesus heard this, He said to him, "One thing you still lack; sell all that you possess and distribute it to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me."
20 "Another came, saying, 'Master, here is your mina, which I kept put away in a handkerchief;
24 "Then he said to the bystanders, 'Take the mina away from him and give it to the one who has the ten minas.' 25 "And they said to him, 'Master, he has ten minas already.' 26 "I tell you that to everyone who has, more shall be given, but from the one who does not have, even what he does have shall be taken away.
31 "If anyone asks you, 'Why are you untying it?' you shall say, 'The Lord has need of it.' "
34 They said, "The Lord has need of it."
24 "Show Me a denarius. Whose likeness and inscription does it have?" They said, "Caesar's."
28 and they questioned Him, saying, "Teacher, Moses wrote for us that IF A MAN'S BROTHER DIES, having a wife, AND HE IS CHILDLESS, HIS BROTHER SHOULD MARRY THE WIFE AND RAISE UP CHILDREN TO HIS BROTHER.
33 "In the resurrection therefore, which one's wife will she be? For all seven had married her."
4 for they all out of their surplus put into the offering; but she out of her poverty put in all that she had to live on."
22 "For indeed, the Son of Man is going as it has been determined; but woe to that man by whom He is betrayed!"
29 and just as My Father has granted Me a kingdom, I grant you
31 "Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded permission to sift you like wheat;
36 And He said to them, "But now, whoever has a money belt is to take it along, likewise also a bag, and whoever has no sword is to sell his coat and buy one. 37 "For I tell you that this which is written must be fulfilled in Me, 'AND HE WAS NUMBERED WITH TRANSGRESSORS '; for that which refers to Me has its fulfillment."
71 Then they said, "What further need do we have of testimony? For we have heard it ourselves from His own mouth."
17 [Now he was obliged to release to them at the feast one prisoner.]
39 "See My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself; touch Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have."
41 While they still could not believe it because of their joy and amazement, He said to them, "Have you anything here to eat?"
