Young's Literal Translation
Being unable to get to Him because of the crowd, they removed the roof above Him; and when they had dug an opening, they let down the pallet on which the paralytic was lying.
"But no one can enter the strong man's house and plunder his property unless he first binds the strong man, and then he will plunder his house.
"Other seed fell on the rocky ground where it did not have much soil; and immediately it sprang up because it had no depth of soil.
"And after the sun had risen, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.
and He instructed them that they should take nothing for their journey, except a mere staff -no bread, no bag, no money in their belt -
When Jesus went ashore, He saw a large crowd, and He felt compassion for them because they were like sheep without a shepherd; and He began to teach them many things.
(For the Pharisees and all the Jews do not eat unless they carefully wash their hands, thus observing the traditions of the elders;
and when they come from the market place, they do not eat unless they cleanse themselves; and there are many other things which they have received in order to observe, such as the washing of cups and pitchers and copper pots.)
In those days, when there was again a large crowd and they had nothing to eat, Jesus called His disciples and said to them,
As they were coming down from the mountain, He gave them orders not to relate to anyone what they had seen, until the Son of Man rose from the dead.
"What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate."
Some Sadducees (who say that there is no resurrection ) came to Jesus, and began questioning Him, saying,
"Teacher, Moses wrote for us that IF A MAN'S BROTHER DIES and leaves behind a wife AND LEAVES NO CHILD, HIS BROTHER SHOULD MARRY THE WIFE AND RAISE UP CHILDREN TO HIS BROTHER.
"The second one married her, and died leaving behind no children; and the third likewise;
And Jesus began to say to them, "See to it that no one misleads you.
"For those days will be a time of tribulation such as has not occurred since the beginning of the creation which God created until now, and never will.
in case he should come suddenly and find you asleep.
"Truly I say to you, I will never again drink of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God."
