1 Dìxiōng men , lún dào shǔlíng de ēncì , wǒ bú yuànyì nǐmen bú míngbai .

Now about the gifts of the Spirit, brothers and sisters, I do not want you to be uninformed.
2 Nǐmen zuò waìbāngrén de shíhou , suí shì beì qiā yǐn shòu míhuò , qù fúshì nà yǎba ǒuxiàng . zhè shì nǐmen zhīdào de .

You know that when you were pagans, somehow or other you were influenced and led astray to mute idols.
3 Suǒyǐ wǒ gàosu nǐmen , beì shén de líng gǎndòng de , méiyǒu shuō Yēsū shì kĕ zhòuzǔ de . ruò bú shì beì Shènglíng gǎndòng de , yĕ méiyǒu néng shuō Yēsū shì zhǔ de .

Therefore I want you to know that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, “Jesus be cursed,” and no one can say, “Jesus is Lord,” except by the Holy Spirit.
4 Ēncì yuán yǒu fēnbié , Shènglíng què shì yī wèi .

There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them.
5 Zhí shì yĕ yǒu fēnbié , zhǔ què shì yī wèi .

There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord.
6 Gōng yòng yĕ yǒu fēnbié , shén què shì yī wèi , zaì zhòngrén lǐmiàn yùnxíng yīqiè de shì .

There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work.
7 Shènglíng xiǎn zaì gèrén shēnshang , shì jiào rén dé yìchu .

Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.
8 Zhè rén mĕng Shènglíng cì tā zhìhuì de yányǔ . nà rén yĕ mĕng zhè wèi Shènglíng cì tā zhīshi de yányǔ .

To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit,
9 Yòu yǒu yī rén mĕng zhè wèi Shènglíng cì tā xìnxīn . hái yǒu yī rén mĕng zhè wèi Shènglíng cì tā yī bìng de ēncì .

to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit,
10 Yòu yǒu yī rén néng xíng yìnéng . yòu jiào yī rén néng zuò xiānzhī . yòu jiào yī rén néng biànbié zhū líng . yòu jiào yī rén néng shuō fāngyán . yòu jiào yī rén néng fān fāngyán .

to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues.
11 Zhè yīqiè dōu shì zhè wèi Shènglíng suǒ yùnxíng , suí jǐ yì fēn gĕi gèrén de .

All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.
12 Jiù rú shēnzi shì yī gè , què yǒu xǔduō zhī tǐ . érqiĕ zhī tǐ suī duō , réng shì yī gè shēnzi . Jīdū yĕ shì zhèyàng .

Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ.
13 Wǒmen bùjū shì Yóutaìrén , shì Xīlà rén , shì wéi nú de , shì zì zhǔ de , dōu cóng yī wèi Shènglíng shòuxǐ , chéng le yī gè shēntǐ . yǐn yú yī wèi Shènglíng .

For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body—whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free—and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.
14 Shēnzi yuán bú shì yī gè zhī tǐ , nǎi shì xǔduō zhī tǐ .

Even so the body is not made up of one part but of many.
15 Shè ruò jiǎo shuō , wǒ bú shì shǒu , suǒyǐ bú shǔ hū shēnzi . tā bùnéng yīncǐ jiù bú shǔ hū shēnzi .

Now if the foot should say, “Because I am not a hand, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body.
16 Shè ruò ĕr shuō , wǒ bú shì yǎn , suǒyǐ bú shǔ hū shēnzi . tā yĕ bùnéng yīncǐ jiù bú shǔ hū shēnzi .

And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong to the body,” it would not for that reason stop being part of the body.
17 Ruò quán shēn shì yǎn , cóng nàli tīng shēng ne . ruò quán shēn shì ĕr , cóng nàli wén wèi ne .

If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of smell be?
18 Dàn rújīn shén suí zìjǐ de yìsi , bǎ zhī tǐ jū gè ānpái zaì shēnshang .

But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be.
19 Ruò dōu shì yī gè zhī tǐ , shēnzi zaì nàli ne .

If they were all one part, where would the body be?
20 Dàn rújīn zhī tǐ shì duō de , shēnzi què shì yī gè .

As it is, there are many parts, but one body.
21 Yǎn bùnéng duì shǒu shuō , wǒ yòng bú zhe nǐ . tóu yĕ bùnéng duì jiǎo shuō , wǒ yòng bú zhe nǐ .

The eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you!” And the head cannot say to the feet, “I don’t need you!”
22 Búdàn rúcǐ , shēnshang zhī tǐ rén yǐwéi ruǎnfuò de , gēng shì bùkĕ shǎo de .

On the contrary, those parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable,
23 Shēnshang zhī tǐ , wǒmen kān wéi bú tǐmian de , yuèfā gĕi tā jiā shàng tǐmian . bú jùnmĕi de , yuèfā dé zhe jùnmĕi .

and the parts that we think are less honorable we treat with special honor. And the parts that are unpresentable are treated with special modesty,
24 Wǒmen jùnmĕi de zhī tǐ , zìrán yòng bú zhe zhuāngshì . dàn shén peì dā zhè shēnzi , bǎ jiābeì de tǐmian gĕi nà yǒu quē qiàn de zhī tǐ .

while our presentable parts need no special treatment. But God has put the body together, giving greater honor to the parts that lacked it,
25 Miǎndé shēnshang fēn mén bié leì . zǒng yào zhī tǐ bǐcǐ xiāng gù .

so that there should be no division in the body, but that its parts should have equal concern for each other.
26 Ruò yī gè zhī tǐ shòu kǔ , suǒyǒude zhī tǐ jiù yītóng shòu kǔ . ruò yī gè zhī tǐ dé róngyào , suǒyǒude zhī tǐ jiù yītóng kuaìlè .

If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it.
27 Nǐmen jiù shì Jīdū de shēnzi , bìngqiĕ gè zuò zhī tǐ .

Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.
28 Shén zaì jiàohuì suǒ shèlì de , dì yī shì shǐtú . dì èr shì xiānzhī , dì sān shì jiào shī . qí cì shì xíng yìnéng de . zaì cì shì dé ēncì yī bìng de . bāngzhu rén de . zhìlǐ shì de . shuō fāngyán de .

And God has placed in the church first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, of helping, of guidance, and of different kinds of tongues.
29 Qǐ dōu shì shǐtú má . qǐ dōu shì xiānzhī má . qǐ dōu shì jiāo shī má . qǐ dōu shì xíng yìnéng de má .

Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles?
30 Qǐ dōu shì dé ēncì yī bìng de má . qǐ dōu shì shuō fāngyán de má . qǐ dōu shì fān fāngyán de má .

Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues ? Do all interpret?
31 Nǐmen yào qiē qiè de qiú nà gēng dà de ēncì , wǒ xiànjīn bǎ zuì miào de dào zhǐshì nǐmen .

Now eagerly desire the greater gifts. And yet I will show you the most excellent way.
