1 Wǒ ruò néng shuō wàn rén de fāngyán , bìng tiānshǐ de huà yǔ què méiyǒu aì , wǒ jiù chéng le wū de luó , xiǎng de bó yìbān .
1 If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.
2 Wǒ ruò yǒu xiānzhī jiǎng dào zhī néng , yĕ míngbai gèyàng de àomì , gèyàng de zhīshi . érqiĕ yǒu quánbeì de xìn , jiào wǒ nénggòu yí shān , què méiyǒu aì , wǒ jiù suàn bùdé shénme .
2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.
3 Wǒ ruò jiāng suǒyǒude zhōujì qióngrén , yòu shĕjǐ shēn jiào rén fùnshāo , què méiyǒu aì , réngrán yǔ wǒ wúyì .
3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.
4 Aì shì héng jiǔ rĕnnaì , yòu yǒu ēncí . aì shì bú jídù . aì shì bú zì kuā . bú zhāngkuáng .
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
5 Bú zuò haì xiū de shì . bú qiú zìjǐ de yìchu . bú qīngyì fānù . bú jìsuàn rén de ĕ .
5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
6 Bú xǐhuan bú yì . zhǐ xǐhuan zhēnlǐ .
6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
7 Fán shì bāoróng . fán shì xiāngxìn . fán shì pànwàng . fán shì rĕnnaì .
7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Aì shì yǒng bú zhǐxī . xiānzhī jiǎng dào zhī néng , zhōng bì guīyú wú yǒu . shuō fāngyán zhī néng , zhōng bì tíng zhǐ , zhīshi yĕ zhōng bì guīyú wú yǒu .
8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
9 Wǒmen xiànzaì suǒ zhīdào de yǒu xiàn , xiānzhī suǒ jiǎng de yĕ yǒu xiàn .
9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part,
10 Dĕng nà wánquán de lái dào , zhè yǒu xiàn de bì guīyú wú yǒu le .
10 but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears.
11 Wǒ zuò háizi de shíhou , huà yǔ xiàng háizi , xīn sāi/sī xiàng háizi , yìniàn xiàng háizi . jì chéng le rén , jiù bǎ háizi de shì diūqì le .
11 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me.
12 Wǒmen rújīn fǎngfú duì zhe jìngzi guānkàn , mó hú bú qīng . ( mó hú bú qīng yuánwén zuò rútóng mí ) dào nàshí , dào nàshí , jiù yào miànduìmiàn le . wǒ rújīn suǒ zhīdào de yǒu xiàn . dào nàshí jiù quán zhīdào , rútóng zhǔ zhīdào wǒ yíyàng .
12 For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
13 Rújīn cháng cún de yǒu xìn , yǒu wàng , yǒu aì , zhè sān yàng , qízhōng zuì dà de shì aì .
13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
