19 Nosotros amamos, porque El nos amó primero.
19 We love because he first loved us.
20 Si alguno dice: Yo amo a Dios, y aborrece a su hermano, es un mentiroso; porque el que no ama a su hermano, a quien ha visto, no puede amar a Dios a quien no ha visto.
20 Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen.
21 Y este mandamiento tenemos de El: que el que ama a Dios, ame también a su hermano.
21 And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love their brother and sister.
