7 Aber Jehova sprach zu Samuel: Blicke nicht auf sein Aussehen und auf die Höhe seines Wuchses, denn ich habe ihn verworfen; denn Jehova sieht nicht auf das, worauf der Mensch sieht; denn der Mensch sieht auf das Äußere, aber Jehova sieht auf das Herz.

But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.”
