11 Mandaron quindi a convocare tutti i principi dei Filistei, e dissero: "Rimandate l’arca dell’Iddio d’Israele; torni essa al suo posto, e non faccia morir noi e il nostro popolo!" Poiché tutta la città era in preda a un terrore di morte, e la mano di Dio s’aggravava grandemente su di essa.

So they called together all the rulers of the Philistines and said, “Send the ark of the god of Israel away; let it go back to its own place, or it will kill us and our people.” For death had filled the city with panic; God’s hand was very heavy on it.
