8 So seid nun nicht halsstarrig wie eure Väter; sondern gebt eure Hand dem HERRN und kommt zu seinem Heiligtum, das er geheiligt hat ewiglich, und dient dem HERRN, eurem Gott, so wird sich der Grimm seines Zorns von euch wenden.

Do not be stiff-necked, as your ancestors were; submit to the LORD. Come to his sanctuary, which he has consecrated forever. Serve the LORD your God, so that his fierce anger will turn away from you.
