1 Wǒmen qǐ shì yòu jǔ jiàn zìjǐ ma . qǐ xiàng biérén , yòng rén de jiàn xìn gĕi nǐmen , huò yòng nǐmen de jiàn xìn gĕi rén ma .
1 Are we beginning to commend ourselves again? Or do we need, like some people, letters of recommendation to you or from you?
2 Nǐmen jiù shì wǒmen de jiàn xìn , xiĕ zaì wǒmen xīnli , beì zhòngrén suǒ zhīdào suǒ niàn sòng de .
2 You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everyone.
3 Nǐmen míngxiǎn shì Jīdū de xìn , jiè zhe wǒmen xiū chéng de . bú shì yòng mò xiĕ de , nǎi shì yòng yǒngshēng shén de líng xiĕ de . bú shì xiĕ zaì shí bǎn shàng , nǎi shì xiĕ zaì xīn bǎn shàng .
3 You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.
4 Wǒmen yīn Jīdū suǒyǐ zaì shén miànqián cái yǒu zhèyàng de xìnxīn ,
4 Such confidence we have through Christ before God.
5 Bīng4 bú shì wǒmen píng zìjǐ néng chéng dān shénme shì , wǒmen suǒ néng chéng dān de , nǎi shì chūyú shén .
5 Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God.
6 Tā jiào wǒmen néng chéngdāng zhè xīnyuē de zhíshì . bú shì píng zhe zì jù , nǎi shì píng zhe jīng yì . yīnwei nà zì jù shì jiào rén sǐ , jīng yì shì jiào rén huó . ( jīng yì huò zuò Shènglíng ) .
6 He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
7 Nà yòng zì kè zaì shítou shang shǔ sǐ de zhí shì , shàngqiĕ yǒu róngguāng , shènzhì Yǐsèliè rén yīn Móxī miàn shàng de róngguāng , bùnéng déngjīng kàn tāde liǎn . zhè róngguāng yuán shì jiànjiàn tuì qù de .
7 Now if the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters on stone, came with glory, so that the Israelites could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory, transitory though it was,
8 Hékuàng nà shǔlíng de zhí shì , qǐbù gèng yǒu róngguāng ma .
8 will not the ministry of the Spirit be even more glorious?
9 Ruò shì dìng zuì de zhí shì yǒu róngguāng , nà chēng yì de zhí shì , róngguāng jiù yuèfā dà le .
9 If the ministry that brought condemnation was glorious, how much more glorious is the ministry that brings righteousness!
10 Nà cóng qián yǒu róngguāng de , yīn zhè jí dà de róngguāng , jiù suàn bùdé yǒu róngguāng le .
10 For what was glorious has no glory now in comparison with the surpassing glory.
11 Ruò nà feìdiào de yǒu róngguāng , zhè chángcún de jiù yǒu róngguāng le .
11 And if what was transitory came with glory, how much greater is the glory of that which lasts!
12 Wǒmen jì yǒu zhèyàng de pànwàng , jiù dà dǎn jiǎng shuō ,
12 Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold.
13 Bú xiàng Móxī jiāng pàzi méng zaì liǎn shang , jiào Yǐsèliè rén bùnéng déngjīng kàn dào nà jiāng feì zhĕ de jiéjú .
13 We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to prevent the Israelites from seeing the end of what was passing away.
14 Dàn tāmende xīn dì gāng yìng . zhídào jīnrì sòng dú jiùyuē de shíhou , zhè pàzi hái méiyǒu jiē qù . zhè pàzi zaì Jīdū lǐ yǐjing feì qù le .
14 But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ is it taken away.
15 Ránér zhídào jīnrì , mĕi fùng sòng dú Móxī shū de shíhou , pàzi hái zaì tāmen xīn shang .
15 Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their hearts.
16 Dàn tāmende xīn jǐshí guī xiàng zhǔ , pàzi jiù jǐshí chú qù le .
16 But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.
17 Zhǔ jiù shì nà líng . zhǔ de líng zaì nàli , nàli jiù déyǐ zìyóu .
17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
18 Wǒmen zhòngrén jìrán cháng zhe liǎn , déyǐ kànjian zhǔ de róngguāng , hǎoxiàng cóng jìngzi lǐ fǎn zhào , jiù biànchéng zhǔ de xíngzhuàng , róng shang jiā róng , rútóng cóng zhǔ de líng biànchéng de .
18 And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
