6 Poiché i nostri padri sono stati infedeli e hanno fatto ciò ch’è male agli occhi dell’Eterno, dell’Iddio nostro, l’hanno abbandonato, han cessato di volger la faccia verso la dimora dell’Eterno, e le han voltato le spalle.

Our parents were unfaithful; they did evil in the eyes of the LORD our God and forsook him. They turned their faces away from the LORD’s dwelling place and turned their backs on him.
