16 Ora dunque, o Signore Iddio d’Israele, osserva al tuo servitore Davide, mio padre, ciò che tu gli hai promesso, dicendo: Ei non ti verrà giammai meno, nel mio cospetto, uomo che segga sopra il trono d’Israele; purchè i tuoi figliuoli prendano guardia alla via loro, per camminar nella mia Legge, come tu sei camminato nel mio cospetto.
