1 Nǐ gāi zhīdào , mòshì bì yǒu wēixiǎn de rìzi lái dào .

But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days.
2 Yīnwei nàshí rén yào zhuān gù zìjǐ , tān aì qiáncái , zì kuā , kuángào , bàng , wéibeì fùmǔ , wáng ēn fù yì , xīn bú shèngjié ,

People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,
3 Wú qīn qíng , bù jiĕ yuàn , hào shuō cái yán , bùnéng zì yuē , xìngqíng xiōng bào , bú aì liángshàn ,

without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good,
4 Maì zhǔ maì yǒu , rènyì wàng wéi , zì gāo zì dà , aì yàn lè bú aì shén .

treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God—
5 Yǒu jìng qián de waìmào , què beì le jìng qián de shí yì . zhè dĕng rén nǐ yào duǒ kāi .

having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.
6 Nà tōu jìn rénjiā , laó lóng wúzhī fùnǚ de , zhèng shì zhè dĕng rén . zhèxie fùnǚ dān fù zuìè , beì gèyàng de sīyù yǐnyòu .

They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over gullible women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires,
7 Chángcháng xuéxí , zhōngjiǔ bùnéng míngbai zhēn dào .

always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth.
8 Cóng qián yǎ ní hé yáng bì zĕnyàng dídǎng Móxī , zhè dĕng rén yĕ zĕnyàng dídǎng zhēn dào . tāmende xīn dì huaì le , zaì zhēn dào shang shì kĕ feìqì de .

Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these teachers oppose the truth. They are men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected.
9 Ránér tāmen bùnéng zaì zhèyàng dídǎng , yīnwei tāmende yúmeì , bì zaì zhòngrén miànqián xiǎnlù chūlai , xiàng nà èr rén yíyàng .

But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone.
10 Dàn nǐ yǐjing fú cóng le wǒde jiàoxun , pǐn xíng , zhì xiàng , xìnxīn , kuānróng , aì xīn , rĕnnaì ,

You, however, know all about my teaching, my way of life, my purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance,
11 Yǐjí wǒ zaì ān tí a , yǐ gē niàn , lù sī dé , suǒ zāoyù de bīpò , kǔnàn . wǒ suǒ rĕnshòu shì hédĕng de bīpò . dàn cóng zhè yīqiè kǔnàn zhōng zhǔ dōu bǎ wǒ jiù chūlai le .

persecutions, sufferings—what kinds of things happened to me in Antioch, Iconium and Lystra, the persecutions I endured. Yet the Lord rescued me from all of them.
12 Búdàn rúcǐ , fán lìzhì zaì Jīdū Yēsū lǐ jìng qián dù rì de , yĕ dōu yào shòu bīpò .

In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted,
13 Zhǐshì zuò è de , hé míhuò rén de , bì yuè jiǔ yuè è , tā qī hǒng rén yĕ beì rén qī hǒng .

while evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.
14 Dàn nǐ suǒ xuéxí de , suǒ què xìn de , yào cún zaì xīnli . yīnwei nǐ zhīdào shì gēn shuí xué de .

But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it,
15 Bìngqiĕ zhīdào nǐ shì cóng xiǎo míngbai Shèngjīng . zhè Shèngjīng néng shǐ nǐ yīn xìn Jīdū Yēsū yǒu déjiù de zhìhuì .

and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
16 Shèngjīng dōu shì shén suǒ mò shì de , ( huò zuò fán shén mò shì de Shèngjīng ) yú jiàoxun , dū zé , shǐ rén guī zhèng , jiàodǎo rén xué yì , dōu shì yǒu yì de .

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,
17 Jiào shǔ shén de rén déyǐ wánquán , yùbeì xíng gèyàng de shàn shì .

so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
