1 Wǒmen jìrán méng liánmǐn , shòu le zhè zhífèn , jiù bù sàng dǎn .
1 Therefore, since through God’s mercy we have this ministry, we do not lose heart.
2 Nǎi jiāng nàxiē àn meì kĕchǐ de shì qìjué le , bú xíng guǐzhà , bú miù chēng shén de dàolǐ . zhǐ jiāng zhēnlǐ biǎomíng chūlai , hǎo zaì shén miànqián bǎ zìjǐ jiàn yǔ gèrén de liángxīn .
2 Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to everyone’s conscience in the sight of God.
3 Rúguǒ wǒmen de fúyin méng bì , jiù shì méng bì zaì mièwáng de rénshēn shang .
3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing.
4 Cǐ dĕng bú xìn zhī rén , beì zhè shìjiè de shén nòng xiā le xīn yǎn , bú jiào Jīdū róngyào fúyin de guāng zhào zhe tāmen . Jīdū bĕn shì shén de xiàng .
4 The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
5 Wǒmen yuán bú shì chuán zìjǐ , nǎi shì chuán Jīdū Yēsū wéi zhǔ , bìngqiĕ zìjǐ yīn Yēsū zuò nǐmen de púrén .
5 For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.
6 Nà fēnfu guāng cóng hēiàn lǐ zhào chūlai de shén , yǐjing zhào zaì wǒmen xīnli , jiào wǒmen dé zhī shén róngyào de guāng , xiǎn zaì Yēsū Jīdū de miàn shang .
6 For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.
7 wǒmen yǒu zhè bǎobeì fàng zaì wǎ qì lǐ , yào xiǎnmíng zhè mò dà de lì , shì chūyú shén , bú shì chūyú wǒmen .
7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.
8 Wǒmen sìmiàn shòu dí , què bú beì kùn zhù . xīnli zuò nán , què bú zhì shī wàng .
8 We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair;
9 Zāo bīpò , què bú beì diūqì . dǎdǎo le , què bú zhì sǐwáng .
9 persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.
10 Shēnshang cháng daì zhe Yēsū de sǐ , shǐ Yēsū de shēng , yĕ xiǎnmíng zaì wǒmen shēnshang .
10 We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.
11 Yīnwei wǒmen zhè huó zhe de rén , shì cháng wèi Yēsū beì jiāo yú sǐdì , shǐ Yēsū de shēng , zaì wǒmen zhè bì sǐ de shēnshang xiǎnmíng chūlai ,
11 For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that his life may also be revealed in our mortal body.
12 Zhèyàng kàn lái , sǐ shì zaì wǒmen shēnshang fādòng , shēng què zaì nǐmen shēnshang fādòng .
12 So then, death is at work in us, but life is at work in you.
13 Dàn wǒmen jì yǒu xìnxīn , zhèng rú jīng shang jì zhe shuō , wǒ yīn xìn , suǒyǐ rúcǐ shuōhuà . wǒmen yĕ xìn , suǒyǐ yĕ shuōhuà .
13 It is written: “I believed; therefore I have spoken.” Since we have that same spirit of faith, we also believe and therefore speak,
14 Zìjǐ zhīdào , nà jiào zhǔ Yēsū fùhuó de , yĕ bì jiào wǒmen yǔ Yēsū yītóng fùhuó , bìngqiĕ jiào wǒmen yǔ nǐmen yītóng zhàn zaì tā miànqián .
14 because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you to himself.
15 Fán shì dōu shì wèi nǐmen , hǎo jiào ēnhuì yīn rén duō yuèfā jiā zēng , gǎnxiè géwaì xiǎn duō , yǐzhì róngyào guīyǔ shén .
15 All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.
16 Suǒyǐ wǒmen bú sàng dǎn . waì tǐ suīrán huǐhuaì , neì xīn què yī tiān xīn sì yī tiān .
16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.
17 Wǒmen zhè zhì zàn zhì qīng de kǔchǔ , yào wèi wǒmen chéngjiù jí zhòng wú bǐ yǒngyuǎn de róngyào .
17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.
18 Yuánlái wǒmen bú shì gùniàn suǒ jiàn de , nǎi shì gùniàn suǒ bú jiàn de . yīnwei suǒ jiàn de shì zànshí de , suǒ bú jiàn de shì yǒngyuǎn de .
18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
