LXX 3 and thou shalt place the ark of the testimony, and shalt cover the ark with the veil, NIV 3 Place the ark of the covenant law in it and shield the ark with the curtain. LXX 4 and thou shalt bring in the table and shalt set forth that which is to be set forth on it; and thou shalt bring in the candlestick and place its lamps on it. NIV 4 Bring in the table and set out what belongs on it. Then bring in the lampstand and set up its lamps. LXX 5 And thou shalt place the golden altar, to burn incense before the ark; and thou shalt put a covering of a veil on the door of the tabernacle of witness. NIV 5 Place the gold altar of incense in front of the ark of the covenant law and put the curtain at the entrance to the tabernacle. LXX 6 And thou shalt put the altar of burnt-offerings by the doors of the tabernacle of witness, and thou shalt set up the tabernacle round about, and thou shalt hallow all that belongs to it round about. NIV 6 “Place the altar of burnt offering in front of the entrance to the tabernacle, the tent of meeting; LXX 7 NIV 7 place the basin between the tent of meeting and the altar and put water in it. LXX 8 NIV 8 Set up the courtyard around it and put the curtain at the entrance to the courtyard. LXX 9 And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and shalt anoint the tabernacle, and all things in it; and shalt sanctify it, and all its furniture, and it shall be holy. NIV 9 “Take the anointing oil and anoint the tabernacle and everything in it; consecrate it and all its furnishings, and it will be holy. LXX 10 And thou shalt anoint the altar of burnt-offerings, and all its furniture; and thou shalt hallow the altar, and the altar shall be most holy. NIV 10 Then anoint the altar of burnt offering and all its utensils; consecrate the altar, and it will be most holy. LXX 11 NIV 11 Anoint the basin and its stand and consecrate them. LXX 12 And thou shalt bring Aaron and his sons to the doors of the tabernacle of witness, and thou shalt wash them with water. NIV 12 “Bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance to the tent of meeting and wash them with water. LXX 13 And thou shalt put on Aaron the holy garments, and thou shalt anoint him, and thou shalt sanctify him, and he shall minister to me as priest. NIV 13 Then dress Aaron in the sacred garments, anoint him and consecrate him so he may serve me as priest. LXX 14 And thou shalt bring up his sons, and shalt put garments on them. NIV 14 Bring his sons and dress them in tunics. LXX 15 And thou shalt anoint them as thou didst anoint their father, and they shall minister to me as priests; and it shall be that they shall have an everlasting anointing of priesthood, throughout their generations. NIV 15 Anoint them just as you anointed their father, so they may serve me as priests. Their anointing will be to a priesthood that will continue throughout their generations.” LXX 16 And Moses did all things whatsoever the Lord commanded him, so did he. NIV 16 Moses did everything just as the LORD commanded him. LXX 17 And it came to pass in the first month, in the second year after their going forth out of Egypt, at the new moon, that the tabernacle was set up. NIV 17 So the tabernacle was set up on the first day of the first month in the second year. LXX 18 And Moses set up the tabernacle, and put on the chapiters, and put the bars into their places, and set up the posts. NIV 18 When Moses set up the tabernacle, he put the bases in place, erected the frames, inserted the crossbars and set up the posts. LXX 19 And he stretched out the curtains over the tabernacle, and put the veil of the tabernacle on it above as the Lord commanded Moses. NIV 19 Then he spread the tent over the tabernacle and put the covering over the tent, as the LORD commanded him. LXX 20 And he took the testimonies, and put them into the ark; and he put the staves by the sides of the ark. NIV 20 He took the tablets of the covenant law and placed them in the ark, attached the poles to the ark and put the atonement cover over it. LXX 21 And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and put on the covering of the veil, and covered the ark of the testimony, as the Lord commanded Moses. NIV 21 Then he brought the ark into the tabernacle and hung the shielding curtain and shielded the ark of the covenant law, as the LORD commanded him. LXX 22 And he put the table in the tabernacle of witness, on the north side without the veil of the tabernacle. NIV 22 Moses placed the table in the tent of meeting on the north side of the tabernacle outside the curtain LXX 23 And he put on it the shewbread before the Lord, as the Lord commanded Moses. NIV 23 and set out the bread on it before the LORD, as the LORD commanded him. LXX 24 And he put the candlestick into the tabernacle of witness, on the side of the tabernacle toward the south. NIV 24 He placed the lampstand in the tent of meeting opposite the table on the south side of the tabernacle LXX 25 And he put on it its lamps before the Lord, as the Lord had commanded Moses. NIV 25 and set up the lamps before the LORD, as the LORD commanded him. LXX 26 And he put the golden altar in the tabernacle of witness before the veil; NIV 26 Moses placed the gold altar in the tent of meeting in front of the curtain LXX 27 and he burnt on it incense of composition, as the Lord commanded Moses. NIV 27 and burned fragrant incense on it, as the LORD commanded him. LXX 28 NIV 28 Then he put up the curtain at the entrance to the tabernacle. LXX 29 And he put the altar of the burnt-offerings by the doors of the tabernacle. NIV 29 He set the altar of burnt offering near the entrance to the tabernacle, the tent of meeting, and offered on it burnt offerings and grain offerings, as the LORD commanded him. LXX 30 NIV 30 He placed the basin between the tent of meeting and the altar and put water in it for washing, LXX 31 And he set up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar; and Moses accomplished all the works. NIV 31 and Moses and Aaron and his sons used it to wash their hands and feet. LXX 32 NIV 32 They washed whenever they entered the tent of meeting or approached the altar, as the LORD commanded Moses. LXX 33 NIV 33 Then Moses set up the courtyard around the tabernacle and altar and put up the curtain at the entrance to the courtyard. And so Moses finished the work. LXX 34 And the cloud covered the tabernacle of witness, and the tabernacle was filled with the glory of the Lord. NIV 34 Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. LXX 35 And Moses was not able to enter into the tabernacle of testimony, because the cloud overshadowed it, and the tabernacle was filled with the glory of the Lord. NIV 35 Moses could not enter the tent of meeting because the cloud had settled on it, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. LXX 36 And when the cloud went up from the tabernacle, the children of Israel prepared to depart with their baggage. NIV 36 In all the travels of the Israelites, whenever the cloud lifted from above the tabernacle, they would set out; LXX 37 And if the cloud went not up, they did not prepare to depart, till the day when the cloud went up. NIV 37 but if the cloud did not lift, they did not set out—until the day it lifted. LXX 38 For a cloud was on the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night before all Israel, in all their journeyings. NIV 38 So the cloud of the LORD was over the tabernacle by day, and fire was in the cloud by night, in the sight of all the Israelites during all their travels.
