1 Y habló el SEÑOR a Moisés y a Aarón, diciendo:

The LORD said to Moses and Aaron:
2 Los hijos de Israel acamparán cada uno junto a su bandera, según las enseñas de las casas de sus padres; alrededor del tabernáculo del testimonio acamparán.

“The Israelites are to camp around the tent of meeting some distance from it, each of them under their standard and holding the banners of their family.”
3 Estos acamparán al levante, al oriente: la bandera del ejército de Judá, por sus escuadrones; y el príncipe de los hijos de Judá, Naasón hijo de Aminadab.

On the east, toward the sunrise, the divisions of the camp of Judah are to encamp under their standard. The leader of the people of Judah is Nahshon son of Amminadab.
4 Su hueste, <I>con</I> los contados de ellos, setenta y cuatro mil seiscientos.

His division numbers 74,600.
5 Junto a él acamparán <I>los de</I> la tribu de Isacar; y el príncipe de los hijos de Isacar, Natanael hijo de Zuar.

The tribe of Issachar will camp next to them. The leader of the people of Issachar is Nethanel son of Zuar.

All the men assigned to the camp of Judah, according to their divisions, number 186,400. They will set out first.
10 La bandera del ejército de Rubén al mediodía, por sus escuadrones; y el príncipe de los hijos de Rubén, Elisur hijo de Sedeur.

On the south will be the divisions of the camp of Reuben under their standard. The leader of the people of Reuben is Elizur son of Shedeur.

12 Y acamparán junto a él <I>los de</I> la tribu de Simeón; y el príncipe de los hijos de Simeón, Selumiel hijo de Zurisadai.

The tribe of Simeon will camp next to them. The leader of the people of Simeon is Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai.

All the men assigned to the camp of Reuben, according to their divisions, number 151,450. They will set out second.
17 Luego irá el tabernáculo del testimonio, el campamento de los levitas en medio de los ejércitos; de la manera que asientan el campamento, así caminarán, cada uno en su lugar, junto a sus banderas.

Then the tent of meeting and the camp of the Levites will set out in the middle of the camps. They will set out in the same order as they encamp, each in their own place under their standard.
18 La bandera del ejército de Efraín por sus escuadrones, al occidente; y el príncipe de los hijos de Efraín, Elisama hijo de Amiud.

On the west will be the divisions of the camp of Ephraim under their standard. The leader of the people of Ephraim is Elishama son of Ammihud.

20 Junto a él estará la tribu de Manasés; y el príncipe de los hijos de Manasés, Gamaliel hijo de Pedasur.

On the north will be the divisions of the camp of Dan under their standard. The leader of the people of Dan is Ahiezer son of Ammishaddai.

29 Y la tribu de Neftalí; y el príncipe de los hijos de Neftalí, Ahira hijo de Enán.

The tribe of Naphtali will be next. The leader of the people of Naphtali is Ahira son of Enan.

31 Todos los contados en el ejército de Dan, ciento cincuenta y siete mil seiscientos; irán los postreros tras sus banderas.

All the men assigned to the camp of Dan number 157,600. They will set out last, under their standards.
32 Estos <I>son</I> los contados de los hijos de Israel, por las casas de sus padres; todos los contados por ejércitos, por sus escuadrones, seiscientos tres mil quinientos cincuenta.

These are the Israelites, counted according to their families. All the men in the camps, by their divisions, number 603,550.
33 Mas los levitas no fueron contados entre los hijos de Israel; como el SEÑOR lo mandó a Moisés.

The Levites, however, were not counted along with the other Israelites, as the LORD commanded Moses.
34 E hicieron los hijos de Israel conforme a todas las cosas que el SEÑOR mandó a Moisés; así asentaron el campamento por sus banderas, y así marcharon cada uno por sus familias, según las casas de sus padres.

So the Israelites did everything the LORD commanded Moses; that is the way they encamped under their standards, and that is the way they set out, each of them with their clan and family.
