Psalm 108

NLT 1 My heart is confident in you, O God; no wonder I can sing your praises with all my heart! NIV 1 My heart, O God, is steadfast; I will sing and make music with all my soul. NLT 2 Wake up, lyre and harp! I will wake the dawn with my song. NIV 2 Awake, harp and lyre! I will awaken the dawn. NLT 3 I will thank you, LORD, among all the people. I will sing your praises among the nations. NIV 3 I will praise you, LORD, among the nations; I will sing of you among the peoples. NLT 4 For your unfailing love is higher than the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds. NIV 4 For great is your love, higher than the heavens; your faithfulness reaches to the skies. NLT 5 Be exalted, O God, above the highest heavens. May your glory shine over all the earth. NIV 5 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be over all the earth. NLT 6 Now rescue your beloved people. Answer and save us by your power. NIV 6 Save us and help us with your right hand, that those you love may be delivered. NLT 7 God has promised this by his holiness : “I will divide up Shechem with joy. I will measure out the valley of Succoth. NIV 7 God has spoken from his sanctuary: “In triumph I will parcel out Shechem and measure off the Valley of Sukkoth. NLT 8 Gilead is mine, and Manasseh, too. Ephraim, my helmet, will produce my warriors, and Judah, my scepter, will produce my kings. NIV 8 Gilead is mine, Manasseh is mine; Ephraim is my helmet, Judah is my scepter. NLT 9 But Moab, my washbasin, will become my servant, and I will wipe my feet on Edom and shout in triumph over Philistia.” NIV 9 Moab is my washbasin, on Edom I toss my sandal; over Philistia I shout in triumph.” NLT 10 Who will bring me into the fortified city? Who will bring me victory over Edom? NIV 10 Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom? NLT 11 Have you rejected us, O God? Will you no longer march with our armies? NIV 11 Is it not you, God, you who have rejected us and no longer go out with our armies? NLT 12 Oh, please help us against our enemies, for all human help is useless. NIV 12 Give us aid against the enemy, for human help is worthless. NLT 13 With God’s help we will do mighty things, for he will trample down our foes. NIV 13 With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies.
