1 Shēnchū dǎogào de shíhou , Bǐdé , Yuēhàn , shàng shèng diàn qù .

One day Peter and John were going up to the temple at the time of prayer—at three in the afternoon.
2 Yǒu yī gèrén , shēng lái shì quètuǐ de , tiāntiān beì rén tái lái , fàng zaì diàn de yī gè ménkǒu , nà mén míng jiào mĕi mén , yào qiú jìn diàn de rén zhōujì .

Now a man who was lame from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those going into the temple courts.
3 Tā kànjian Bǐdé Yuēhàn jiāngyào jìn diàn , jiù qiú tāmen zhōujì .

When he saw Peter and John about to enter, he asked them for money.
4 Bǐdé Yuēhàn déngjīng kàn tā . Bǐdé shuō , nǐ kàn wǒmen .

Peter looked straight at him, as did John. Then Peter said, “Look at us!”

So the man gave them his attention, expecting to get something from them.
6 Bǐdé shuō , jīn yín wǒ dōu méiyǒu , zhī bǎ wǒ suǒyǒude gĕi nǐ , wǒ fèng Násǎlè rén Yēsū Jīdū de míng , jiào nǐ qǐlai xíng zǒu .

Then Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.”

Taking him by the right hand, he helped him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong.
8 Jiù tiào qǐlai , zhàn zhe , yòu xíng zǒu . tóng tāmen jìn le diàn , zǒu zhe , tiào zhe , zànmĕi shén .

He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God.
9 Bǎixìng dōu kànjian tā xíng zǒu , zànmĕi shén .

When all the people saw him walking and praising God,
10 Rèn dé tā shì nà sùcháng zuò zaì diàn de mĕi ménkǒu qiú zhōujì de , jiù yīn tā suǒ yù zhe de shì , mǎn xīn xīqí jīngyà .

they recognized him as the same man who used to sit begging at the temple gate called Beautiful, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.

While the man held on to Peter and John, all the people were astonished and came running to them in the place called Solomon’s Colonnade.
12 Bǐdé kànjian , jiù duì bǎixìng shuō , Yǐsèliè rén nǎ , wèishénme bǎ zhè shì dàng zuò xīqí ne . wèishénme déngjīng kàn wǒmen , yǐwéi wǒmen píng zìjǐ de nénglì hé qiánchéng , shǐ zhè rén xíng zǒu ne .

When Peter saw this, he said to them: “Fellow Israelites, why does this surprise you? Why do you stare at us as if by our own power or godliness we had made this man walk?
13 Yàbólāhǎn , Yǐsā , Yǎgè de shén , jiù shì wǒmen lièzǔ de shén , yǐjing róngyào le tāde púrén Yēsū . ( púrén huò zuò érzi ) nǐmen què bǎ tā jiāofù Bǐlāduō . Bǐlāduō déng yì yào shìfàng tā , nǐmen jìng zaì Bǐlāduō miànqián qìjué le tā .

The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his servant Jesus. You handed him over to be killed, and you disowned him before Pilate, though he had decided to let him go.
14 Nǐmen qìjué le nà shèngjié gōngyì zhĕ , fǎn qiú zhe shìfàng yī gè xiōngshǒu gĕi nǐmen .

You disowned the Holy and Righteous One and asked that a murderer be released to you.
15 Nǐmen shā le nà shēngmìng de zhǔ , shén què jiào tā cōng sǐ lǐ fùhuó le . wǒmen dōu shì wéi zhè shì zuò jiànzhèng .

You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead. We are witnesses of this.
16 Wǒmen yīn tāde míng , tāde míng biàn jiào nǐmen suǒ kànjian suǒ rènshi de zhè rén , jiànzhuàng le . zhèng shì tā suǒ cì de xìnxīn , jiào zhè rén zaì nǐmen zhòngrén miànqián quán rán hǎo le .

By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus’ name and the faith that comes through him that has completely healed him, as you can all see.
17 Dìxiōng men , wǒ xiǎodé nǐmen zuò zhè shì , shì chūyú bù zhī , nǐmen de guān zhǎng yĕ shì rúcǐ .

“Now, fellow Israelites, I know that you acted in ignorance, as did your leaders.
18 Dàn shén céng jiè zhòng xiānzhī de kǒu , yùyán Jīdū jiāngyào shòu haì , jiù zhèyàng yìngyàn le .

But this is how God fulfilled what he had foretold through all the prophets, saying that his Messiah would suffer.
19 Suǒyǐ nǐmen dàng huǐgǎi guī zhèng , shǐ nǐmen de zuì déyǐ túmǒ , zhèyàng , nà ān shū de rìzi , jiù bì cōng zhǔ miànqián lái dào .

Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,
20 Zhǔ yĕ bì chāiqiǎn suǒ yùdéng gĕi nǐmen de Jīdū Yēsū jiànglín .

and that he may send the Messiah, who has been appointed for you—even Jesus.
21 Tiān bì liú tā , dĕng dào wànwù fùxīng de shíhou , jiù shì shén cōng chuàngshì yǐlái , jiè zhe shèng xiānzhī de kǒu suǒ shuō de .

Heaven must receive him until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets.
22 Móxī céng shuō , zhǔ shén yào cōng nǐmen dìxiōng zhōngjiān , gĕi nǐmen xīngqǐ yī wèi xiānzhī xiàng wǒ , fán tā xiàng nǐmen suǒ shuō de , nǐmen dōu yào tīng cōng .

For Moses said, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your own people; you must listen to everything he tells you.
23 Fán bù tīng cōng nà xiānzhī de , bìyào cóng mín zhòng quán rán mièjué .

Anyone who does not listen to him will be completely cut off from their people.’
24 Cōng Sǎmǔĕr yǐlái de zhòng xiānzhī , fán shuō yùyán de , yĕ dōu shuō dào zhèxie rìzi .

“Indeed, beginning with Samuel, all the prophets who have spoken have foretold these days.
25 Nǐmen shì xiānzhī de zǐsūn , yĕ chéngshòu shén yǔ nǐmen zǔzong suǒ lì de yuē , jiù shì duì Yàbólāhǎn shuō , dì shàng wàn zú , dōu yào yīn nǐde hòuyì dé fú .

And you are heirs of the prophets and of the covenant God made with your fathers. He said to Abraham, ‘Through your offspring all peoples on earth will be blessed.’
26 Shén jì xīngqǐ tāde púrén , ( huò zuò érzi ) jiù xiān chāi tā dào nǐmen zhèlǐ lái , cì fú gĕi nǐmen , jiào nǐmen gèrén huízhuǎn , líkāi zuìè .

When God raised up his servant, he sent him first to you to bless you by turning each of you from your wicked ways.”
