21 Ed essi, avendo ciò udito, entrarono sullo schiarir del giorno nel tempio, e insegnavano. Or il sommo sacerdote e coloro che eran con lui vennero, e convocarono il Sinedrio e tutti gli anziani de’ figliuoli d’Israele, e mandarono alla prigione per far menare dinanzi a loro gli apostoli.

At daybreak they entered the temple courts, as they had been told, and began to teach the people. When the high priest and his associates arrived, they called together the Sanhedrin—the full assembly of the elders of Israel—and sent to the jail for the apostles.
