16 (H6:17) Dann befahl der König, und man brachte Daniel und warf ihn in die Löwengrube. Der König hob an und sprach zu Daniel: Dein Gott, welchem du ohne Unterlaß dienst, er möge dich retten!

So the king gave the order, and they brought Daniel and threw him into the lions’ den. The king said to Daniel, “May your God, whom you serve continually, rescue you!”
