27 E i satrapi, i prefetti, i governatori e i consiglieri del re, essendosi adunati, guardarono quegli uomini, e videro che il fuoco non aveva avuto alcun potere sul loro corpo, che i capelli del loro capo non erano stati arsi, che le loro tuniche non erano alterate, e ch’essi non avevano odor di fuoco.

and the satraps, prefects, governors and royal advisers crowded around them. They saw that the fire had not harmed their bodies, nor was a hair of their heads singed; their robes were not scorched, and there was no smell of fire on them.
