18 so künde ich euch heute an, daß ihr gewißlich umkommen werdet; ihr werdet eure Tage nicht verlängern in dem Lande, wohin zu kommen du über den Jordan gehst, um es in Besitz zu nehmen.

I declare to you this day that you will certainly be destroyed. You will not live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to enter and possess.
