1 Nǐmen shì Yēhéhuá nǐmen shén de érnǚ . bùkĕ wéi sǐ rén yòng dāo huá shēn , yĕ bùkĕ jiāng é shàng tì guāng .

You are the children of the LORD your God. Do not cut yourselves or shave the front of your heads for the dead,
2 Yīnwei nǐ guī Yēhéhuá nǐ shén wéi shèngjié de mín , Yēhéhuá cóng dì shàng de wàn mín zhōng jiǎnxuǎn nǐ tè zuò zìjǐ de zǐmín .

for you are a people holy to the LORD your God. Out of all the peoples on the face of the earth, the LORD has chosen you to be his treasured possession.
3 Fán kè zēng de wù dōu bùkĕ chī .

Do not eat any detestable thing.
4 Kè chī de shēngchù jiù shì niú , miányáng , shānyáng ,

These are the animals you may eat: the ox, the sheep, the goat,
5 Lù , líng yáng , paó zǐ , yĕ shānyáng , mí lù , huáng yáng , qīng yáng .

the deer, the gazelle, the roe deer, the wild goat, the ibex, the antelope and the mountain sheep.
6 Fán fèn tí chéngwéi liǎng bàn yòu dǎo jiaó de zǒushòu , nǐmen dōu kĕyǐ chī .

You may eat any animal that has a divided hoof and that chews the cud.
7 Dàn nàxiē dǎo jiaó huò shì fèn tí zhī zhōng bùkĕ chī de nǎi shì luòtuo , tùzi , shā fān yīnwei shì dǎo jiaó bú fèn tí , jiù yǔ nǐmen bú jiéjìng .

However, of those that chew the cud or that have a divided hoof you may not eat the camel, the rabbit or the hyrax. Although they chew the cud, they do not have a divided hoof; they are ceremonially unclean for you.
8 Zhū yīnwei shì fēn tí què bú dǎo jiaó , jiù yǔ nǐmen bú jiéjìng . zhèxie shòu de ròu , nǐmen bùkĕ chī , sǐ de yĕ bùkĕ mó .

The pig is also unclean; although it has a divided hoof, it does not chew the cud. You are not to eat their meat or touch their carcasses.
9 Shuǐ zhōng kè chī de nǎi shì zhèxie , fán yǒu chì yǒu lín de dōu kĕyǐ chī .

Of all the creatures living in the water, you may eat any that has fins and scales.
10 Fán wú chì wú lín de dōu bùkĕ chī , shì yǔ nǐmen bú jiéjìng .

But anything that does not have fins and scales you may not eat; for you it is unclean.
11 Fán jiéjìng de niǎo , nǐmen dōu kĕyǐ chī .

You may eat any clean bird.
12 Bùkĕ chī de nǎi shì diāo , gǒu tóu diāo , hóng tóu diāo ,

But these you may not eat: the eagle, the vulture, the black vulture,

the red kite, the black kite, any kind of falcon,
14 Wūyē yǔ Qíleì ,

any kind of raven,
15 Tuó niǎo , yè yīng , yú yīng , yīng yǔ Qíleì ,

the horned owl, the screech owl, the gull, any kind of hawk,

the little owl, the great owl, the white owl,
17 Tí hú , tū diāo , lú cí ,

the desert owl, the osprey, the cormorant,
18 Guàn , lù sī yǔ Qíleì , daì £¿ £¿ yǔ biān fú .

the stork, any kind of heron, the hoopoe and the bat.
19 Fán yǒu chìbǎng pá xíng de wù shì yǔ nǐmen bú jiéjìng , dōu bùkĕ chī .

All flying insects are unclean to you; do not eat them.
20 Fán jiéjìng de niǎo , nǐmen dōu kĕyǐ chī .

But any winged creature that is clean you may eat.
21 Fán zì sǐ de , nǐmen dōu bùkĕ chī , kĕyǐ gĕi nǐ chéng lǐ jìjū de chī , huò maì yǔ waìrén chī , yīnwei nǐ shì guī Yēhéhuá nǐ shén wéi shèngjié de mín . bùkĕ yòng shānyánggāo mǔ de nǎi zhǔ shānyánggāo .

Do not eat anything you find already dead. You may give it to the foreigner residing in any of your towns, and they may eat it, or you may sell it to any other foreigner. But you are a people holy to the LORD your God. Do not cook a young goat in its mother’s milk.
22 Nǐ yào bǎ nǐ sǎzhǒng suǒ chǎn de , jiù shì nǐ tiándì mĕi nián suǒ chū de , shí fēn qǔ yī fēn .

Be sure to set aside a tenth of all that your fields produce each year.
23 Yòu yào bǎ nǐde wǔgǔ , xīn jiǔ , hé yóu de shí fēn ...zhīyī , bìng niú qún yáng qún zhōng tóushēng de , chī zaì Yēhéhuá nǐ shén miànqián , jiù shì tā suǒ xuǎnzé yào lì wéi tā míng de jū suǒ . zhèyàng , nǐ kĕyǐ xuéxí shícháng jìngwèi Yēhéhuá nǐde shén .

Eat the tithe of your grain, new wine and olive oil, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks in the presence of the LORD your God at the place he will choose as a dwelling for his Name, so that you may learn to revere the LORD your God always.
24 Dàng Yēhéhuá nǐ shén cì fú yǔ nǐde shíhou , Yēhéhuá nǐ shén suǒ xuǎnzé yào lì wéi tā míng de dìfang ruò lí nǐ taì yuǎn , nà lù yĕ taì zhǎng , shǐ nǐ bùnéng bǎ zhè wù daì dào nàli qù ,

But if that place is too distant and you have been blessed by the LORD your God and cannot carry your tithe (because the place where the LORD will choose to put his Name is so far away),
25 Nǐ jiù kĕyǐ huàn chéng yínzi , jiāng yínzi bāo qǐlai , ná zaì shǒu zhōng , wǎng Yēhéhuá nǐ shén suǒ yào xuǎnzé de dìfang qù .

then exchange your tithe for silver, and take the silver with you and go to the place the LORD your God will choose.
26 Nǐ yòng zhè yínzi , suí xīn suǒ yù , huò mǎi niú yáng , huò mǎi qīng jiǔ nóng jiǔ , fán nǐ xīn suǒ xiǎng de dōu kĕyǐ mǎi . nǐ hé nǐde jiā shǔ zaì Yēhéhuá nǐ shén de miànqián chīhēkuaìlè .

Use the silver to buy whatever you like: cattle, sheep, wine or other fermented drink, or anything you wish. Then you and your household shall eat there in the presence of the LORD your God and rejoice.
27 Zhù zaì nǐ chéng lǐ de Lìwèi rén , nǐ bùkĕ diūqì tā , yīnwei tā zaì nǐmen zhōngjiān wú fēn wú yè .

And do not neglect the Levites living in your towns, for they have no allotment or inheritance of their own.
28 Mĕi fùng sān nián de mò yī nián , nǐ yào jiāng bĕn nián de tǔchǎn shí fèn ...zhīyī dōu qǔ chūlai , jīcún zaì nǐde chéng zhōng .

At the end of every three years, bring all the tithes of that year’s produce and store it in your towns,
29 Zaì nǐ chéng lǐ wú fēn wú yè de Lìwèi rén , hé nǐ chéng lǐ jìjū de , bìng gūér guǎfu , dōu kĕyǐ lái , chī de bǎozú . zhèyàng , Yēhéhuá nǐde shén bì zaì nǐ shǒu lǐ suǒ bàn de yīqiè shì shàng cì fú yǔ nǐ .

so that the Levites (who have no allotment or inheritance of their own) and the foreigners, the fatherless and the widows who live in your towns may come and eat and be satisfied, and so that the LORD your God may bless you in all the work of your hands.
