15 Un profeta de en medio de ti, de tus hermanos, como yo, te levantará el SEÑOR tu Dios; a él oiréis.

The LORD your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your fellow Israelites. You must listen to him.
16 Esto es conforme a todo lo que pediste al SEÑOR tu Dios en Horeb el día de la asamblea, diciendo: "No vuelva yo a oír la voz del SEÑOR mi Dios, no vuelva a ver este gran fuego, no sea que muera."

For this is what you asked of the LORD your God at Horeb on the day of the assembly when you said, “Let us not hear the voice of the LORD our God nor see this great fire anymore, or we will die.”
17 Y el SEÑOR me dijo: "Bien han hablado en lo que han dicho.

The LORD said to me: “What they say is good.
18 "Un profeta como tú levantaré de entre sus hermanos, y pondré mis palabras en su boca, y él les hablará todo lo que yo le mande.

I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their fellow Israelites, and I will put my words in his mouth. He will tell them everything I command him.
