15 who led thee through that great and terrible wilderness of burning serpents and scorpions and drought, where <em>there was</em> no water, who brought thee forth water out of the rock of flint,
15 He led you through the vast and dreadful wilderness, that thirsty and waterless land, with its venomous snakes and scorpions. He brought you water out of hard rock.
