1 Suǒyǐ nǐmen gāi xiàofǎ shén , hǎoxiàng méng cíaì de érnǚ yíyàng .

Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children
2 Yĕ yào píng aì xīn xíngshì , zhèng rú Jīdū aì wǒmen , wèi wǒmen shĕ le zìjǐ , dàng zuò xīnxiāng de gōngwù , hé jìwù , xiàn yǔ shén .

and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
3 Zhìyú yínluàn , bìng yīqiè wūhuì , huò shì tānlán , zaì nǐmen zhōngjiān lián tí dōu bùkĕ , fāng hé shèngtú de tǐ Tǒng .

But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people.
4 Yín cí , wàng yǔ , hé xì xiào de huà , dōu bù xiāngyí , zǒng yào shuō gǎnxiè de huà .

Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving.
5 Yīnwei nǐmen quèshí de zhīdào , wúlùn shì yínluàn de , shì wūhuì de , shì yǒu tānxīn de , zaì Jīdū hé shén de guó lǐ , dōu shì wú fèn de . yǒu tānxīn de , jiù yǔ baì ǒuxiàng de yíyàng .

For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a person is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
6 Búyào beì rén xūfú de huà qī hǒng . yīn zhèxie shì , shén de fèn nù bì líndào nà beìnì zhī zǐ .

Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient.
7 Suǒyǐ nǐmen búyào yǔ tāmen tóng huǒ .

Therefore do not be partners with them.
8 Cóng qián nǐmen shì àn meì de , dàn rújīn zaì zhǔ lǐmiàn shì guāngmíng de , xíngshì wéirén jiù dāng xiàng guāngmíng de zǐ nǚ .

For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light
9 Guāngmíng suǒ jiē de guǒzi , jiù shì yīqiè liángshàn , gōngyì , chéngshí .

(for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth)
10 Zǒng yào chá yàn hé wéi zhǔ suǒ xǐyuè de shì .

and find out what pleases the Lord.
11 Nà àn meì wúyì de shì , búyào yǔ rén tóngxíng , dǎo yào zébeì xíng zhè shì de rén

Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.
12 Yīnwei tāmen ànzhōng suǒ xíng de , jiù shì tí qǐlai , yĕ shì kĕchǐ de .

It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret.
13 Fán shì shòu le zébeì , jiù beì guāng xiǎnmíng chūlai . yīnwei yīqiè néng xiǎnmíng de , jiù shì guāng .

But everything exposed by the light becomes visible—and everything that is illuminated becomes a light.
14 Suǒyǐ zhǔ shuō , nǐ zhè shuì zhaó de rén , dāng xǐng guo lái , cóng sǐ lǐ fùhuó , Jīdū jiù yào guāng zhào nǐ le .

This is why it is said: “Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”
15 Nǐmen yào jǐnshèn xíngshì , búyào xiàng yúmeì rén , dāng xiàng zhìhuì rén .

Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise,
16 Yào aìxī guāngyīn , yīnwei xiànjīn de shìdaì xiéè .

making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.
17 Búyào zuò hú tú rén , yào míngbai zhǔ de zhǐyì rúhé .

Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.
18 Búyào zuìjiǔ , jiǔ néng shǐ rén fàngdàng , nǎi yào beì Shènglíng chōngmǎn .

Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit,
19 Dāng yòng shīzhāng , sòngcí , líng gē , bǐcǐ duì shuō , kǒu chàng xīn hé de zànmĕi zhǔ .

speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord,
20 Fán shì yào fèng wǒmen zhǔ Yēsū Jīdū de míng , chángcháng gǎnxiè fù shén .

always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
21 Yòu dāng cún jìngwèi Jīdū de xīn , bǐcǐ shùnfú .

Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.
22 Nǐmen zuò qīzi de , dāng shùnfú zìjǐ de zhàngfu , rútóng shùnfú zhǔ .

Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord.
23 Yīnwei zhàngfu shì qīzi de tóu , rútóng Jīdū shì jiàohuì de tóu . tā yòu shì jiàohuì quán tǐ de jiù zhǔ .

For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior.
24 Jiàohuì zĕnyàng shùnfú Jīdū , qīzi yĕ yào zĕnyàng fán shì shùnfú zhàngfu .

Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.
25 Nǐmen zuò zhàngfu de , yào aì nǐmen de qīzi , zhèng rú Jīdū aì jiàohuì , wèi jiàohuì shĕjǐ .

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her
26 Yào yòng shuǐ jiè zhedào , bǎ jiàohuì xǐ jìng , chéngwéi shèngjié ,

to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word,
27 Kĕyǐ xiàn gĕi zìjǐ , zuò ge róngyào de jiàohuì , haó wú diànwū zhòu wén dĕng leì de bìng , nǎi shì shèngjié méiyǒu xiácī de .

and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.
28 Zhàngfu yĕ dāng zhàoyàng aì qīzi , rútóng aì zìjǐ de shēnzi . aì qīzi , biàn shì aì zìjǐ le .

In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.
29 Cónglái méiyǒu rén hèn wù zìjǐ de shēnzi , zǒngshì bǎo yǎng gù xī , zhèng xiàng Jīdū daì jiàohuì yíyàng .

After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church—
30 Yīn wǒmen shì tā shēnshang de zhī tǐ . ( yǒu gǔ juàn zaì cǐ yǒu jiù shì tāde gǔ tāde ròu ) .

for we are members of his body.
31 Wèi zhège yuángù , rén yào líkāi fùmǔ , yǔ qīzi lián gĕ/hé , èr rén chéngwéi yī tǐ .

“For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.”
32 Zhè shì jí dà de àomì , dàn wǒ shì zhǐ zhe Jīdū hé jiàohuì shuō de .

This is a profound mystery—but I am talking about Christ and the church.
33 Ránér nǐmen gèrén dōu dāng aì qīzi , rútóng aì zìjǐ yíyàng . qīzi yĕ dāng jìngzhòng tāde zhàngfu .

However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.
