1 Nǐ dāng wéi Yǐsèliè de wáng zuò qǐ āi gē ,
1 “Take up a lament concerning the princes of Israel
2 Shuō , nǐde mǔqin shì shénme ne . shì gè mǔ shīzi , dūn fú zaì shīzi zhōngjiān , zaì shǎo zhuàng shīzi zhōng yǎng yù xiǎo shīzi .
2 and say: “ ‘What a lioness was your mother among the lions! She lay down among them and reared her cubs.
3 Zaì tā xiǎo shīzi zhōng yǎng dà yī gè , chéng le shǎo zhuàng shīzi , xué huì zhuā sì ér chī rén .
3 She brought up one of her cubs, and he became a strong lion. He learned to tear the prey and he became a man-eater.
4 Liè guó tīngjian le jiù bǎ tā zhuō zaì tāmende kēng zhōng , yòng gōuzǐ lā dào Āijí dì qù .
4 The nations heard about him, and he was trapped in their pit. They led him with hooks to the land of Egypt.
5 Mǔ shī jiàn zìjǐ dĕnghòu shī le zhǐwang , jiù cóng tā xiǎo shīzi zhōng yòu jiāng yī gè yǎng wéi shǎo zhuàng shīzi .
5 “ ‘When she saw her hope unfulfilled, her expectation gone, she took another of her cubs and made him a strong lion.
6 Tā zaì zhòng shīzi zhōng zǒu lái zǒu qù , chéng le shǎo zhuàng shīzi , xué huì zhuā sì ér chī rén .
6 He prowled among the lions, for he was now a strong lion. He learned to tear the prey and he became a man-eater.
7 Tā zhīdào liè guó de gōngdiàn , yòu shǐ tāmende chéngyì biàn wèi huāng cháng . yīn tā paó xiāo de shēngyīn , biàn dì hé qízhōng suǒyǒude jiù dōu huāng feì .
7 He broke down their strongholds and devastated their towns. The land and all who were in it were terrified by his roaring.
8 Yúshì sìwéi bāng guó gè xǐng de rén lái gōngjī tā , jiāng wǎng sǎ zaì tā shēnshang , zhuō zaì tāmende kēng zhōng .
8 Then the nations came against him, those from regions round about. They spread their net for him, and he was trapped in their pit.
9 Tāmen yòng gōuzǐ gōu zhù tā , jiāng tā fàng zaì lóng zhōng , daì dào Bābǐlún wáng nàli , jiāng tā fàng rù jiāngù zhī suǒ , shǐ tā de shēngyīn zaì Yǐsèliè shān shang bú zaì tīngjian .
9 With hooks they pulled him into a cage and brought him to the king of Babylon. They put him in prison, so his roar was heard no longer on the mountains of Israel.
10 Nǐde mǔqin xiānqián rú pútàoshù , jíqí mào shèng ( yuánwén zuò zaì nǐ xuè zhōng ) , zāi yú shuǐ páng . yīnwei shuǐ duō , jiù duō jié guǒzi , mǎn shēng zhīzǐ .
10 “ ‘Your mother was like a vine in your vineyardplanted by the water; it was fruitful and full of branches because of abundant water.
11 Shēng chū jiāngù de zhī gān , kĕ zuò zhǎngquán zhĕ de zhàng . zhè zhī gān gāo jǔ zaì mào mì de zhī zhōng , érqiĕ tā shēng zhǎng gāo dà , zhīzǐ fán duō , yuǎn yuǎn kĕ jiàn .
11 Its branches were strong, fit for a ruler’s scepter. It towered high above the thick foliage, conspicuous for its height and for its many branches.
12 Dàn zhè pútàoshù yīn fèn nù beì bá chū shuāi zaì dì shang . dōng fēng chuī gān qí shang de guǒzi , jiāngù de zhī gān zhé duàn kū gàn , beì huǒshào huǐ le .
12 But it was uprooted in fury and thrown to the ground. The east wind made it shrivel, it was stripped of its fruit; its strong branches withered and fire consumed them.
13 Rújīn zāi yú kuàngyĕ gàn hàn wú shuǐ zhī dì .
13 Now it is planted in the desert, in a dry and thirsty land.
14 Huǒ yĕ cóng tā zhī gān zhōng fāchū , shāo miè guǒzi , yǐzhì méiyǒu jiāngù de zhī gān kĕ zuò zhǎngquán zhĕ de zhàng . zhè shì āi gē , yĕ bì yòng yǐ zuò āi gē .
14 Fire spread from one of its main branches and consumed its fruit. No strong branch is left on it fit for a ruler’s scepter.’ “This is a lament and is to be used as a lament.”
