7 Desde los días de nuestros padres hasta el día de hoy hemos estado bajo gran culpa, y a causa de nuestras iniquidades, nosotros, nuestros reyes y nuestros sacerdotes hemos sido entregados en mano de los reyes de estas tierras, a la espada, al cautiverio, al saqueo y a la verguenza pública, como en este día.
7 From the days of our ancestors until now, our guilt has been great. Because of our sins, we and our kings and our priests have been subjected to the sword and captivity, to pillage and humiliation at the hand of foreign kings, as it is today.
