16 avendo pur nondimeno riconosciuto che l’uomo non è giustificato per le opere della legge ma lo è soltanto per mezzo della fede in Cristo Gesù, abbiamo anche noi creduto in Cristo Gesù affin d’esser giustificati per la fede in Cristo e non per le opere della legge, poiché per le opere della legge nessuna carne sarà giustificata.

know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified.
