1 Zhèxie shì yǐhòu , shén yào shìyàn Yàbólāhǎn , jiù hūjiào tā shuō , Yàbólāhǎn , tā shuō , wǒ zaì zhèlǐ .
1 Some time later God tested Abraham. He said to him, “Abraham!” “Here I am,” he replied.
2 Shén shuō , nǐ daì zhe nǐde érzi , jiù shì nǐ dú shēng de érzi , nǐ suǒ aì de Yǐsā , wǎng Mólìya dì qù , zaì wǒ suǒ yào zhǐshì nǐde shān shàng , bǎ tā xiàn wéi Fánjì .
2 Then God said, “Take your son, your only son, whom you love—Isaac—and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain I will show you.”
3 Yàbólāhǎn qīngzǎo qǐlai , beì shàng lü , daì zhe liǎng gè púrén hé tā érzi Yǐsā , yĕ pǐ hào le Fánjì de chái , jiù qǐshēn wǎng shén suǒ zhǐshì tāde dìfang qù le .
3 Early the next morning Abraham got up and loaded his donkey. He took with him two of his servants and his son Isaac. When he had cut enough wood for the burnt offering, he set out for the place God had told him about.
4 Dào le dì sān rì , Yàbólāhǎn jǔmù yuǎn yuǎn dì kànjian nà dìfang .
4 On the third day Abraham looked up and saw the place in the distance.
5 Yàbólāhǎn duì tāde púrén shuō , nǐmen hé lü zaì cǐ dĕnghòu , wǒ yǔ tóngzǐ wǎng nàli qù baì yī baì , jiù huí dào nǐmen zhèlǐ lái .
5 He said to his servants, “Stay here with the donkey while I and the boy go over there. We will worship and then we will come back to you.”
6 Yàbólāhǎn bǎ Fánjì de chái fàng zaì tā érzi Yǐsā shēnshang , zìjǐ shǒu lǐ ná zhe huǒ yǔ dāo . yúshì èr rén tóngxíng .
6 Abraham took the wood for the burnt offering and placed it on his son Isaac, and he himself carried the fire and the knife. As the two of them went on together,
7 Yǐsā duì tā fùqin Yàbólāhǎn shuō , fùqin nǎ , Yàbólāhǎn shuō , wǒ ér , wǒ zaì zhèlǐ . Yǐsā shuō , qǐng kàn , huǒ yǔ chái dōu yǒu le , dàn Fánjì de yánggāo zaì nǎli ne .
7 Isaac spoke up and said to his father Abraham, “Father?” “Yes, my son?” Abraham replied. “The fire and wood are here,” Isaac said, “but where is the lamb for the burnt offering?”
8 Yàbólāhǎn shuō , wǒ ér , shén bì zìjǐ yùbeì zuò Fánjì de yánggāo . yúshì èr rén tóngxíng .
8 Abraham answered, “God himself will provide the lamb for the burnt offering, my son.” And the two of them went on together.
9 Tāmen dào le shén suǒ zhǐshì de dìfang , Yàbólāhǎn zaì nàli zhù tán , bǎ chái bǎi hǎo , kúnbǎng tāde érzi Yǐsā , fàng zaì tán de chái shàng .
9 When they reached the place God had told him about, Abraham built an altar there and arranged the wood on it. He bound his son Isaac and laid him on the altar, on top of the wood.
10 Yàbólāhǎn jiù shēnshǒu ná dāo , yào shā tāde érzi .
10 Then he reached out his hand and took the knife to slay his son.
11 Yēhéhuá de shǐzhĕ cóng tiān shàng hūjiào tā shuō , Yàbólāhǎn , Yàbólāhǎn , tā shuō , wǒ zaì zhèlǐ .
11 But the angel of the LORD called out to him from heaven, “Abraham! Abraham!” “Here I am,” he replied.
12 Tiānshǐ shuō , nǐ bùkĕ zaì zhè tóngzǐ shēnshang xià shǒu . yídiǎn bùkĕ haì tā . xiànzaì wǒ zhīdào nǐ shì jìngwèi shén de le . yīnwei nǐ méiyǒu jiāng nǐde érzi , jiù shì nǐ dú shēng de érzi , liú xià bú gĕi wǒ .
12 “Do not lay a hand on the boy,” he said. “Do not do anything to him. Now I know that you fear God, because you have not withheld from me your son, your only son.”
13 Yàbólāhǎn jǔmù guānkàn , búliào , yǒu yī zhī gōng yáng , liǎng jiǎo kòu zaì chóu mì de xiǎo shù zhōng , Yàbólāhǎn jiù qǔ le nà zhī gōng yáng lái , xiàn wéi Fánjì , daìtì tāde érzi .
13 Abraham looked up and there in a thicket he saw a ram caught by its horns. He went over and took the ram and sacrificed it as a burnt offering instead of his son.
14 Yàbólāhǎn gĕi nà dìfang qǐmíng jiào Yēhéhuáyǐlēi ( jiù shì Yēhéhuá bì yùbeì ) , zhídào jīnrì rén hái shuō , zaì Yēhéhuá de shān shàng bì yǒu yùbeì .
14 So Abraham called that place The LORD Will Provide. And to this day it is said, “On the mountain of the LORD it will be provided.”
15 Yēhéhuá de shǐzhĕ dì èr cì cóng tiān shàng hūjiào Yàbólāhǎn shuō ,
15 The angel of the LORD called to Abraham from heaven a second time
16 Yēhéhuá shuō , nǐ jì xíng le zhè shì , bú liú xià nǐde érzi , jiù shì nǐ dú shēng de érzi , wǒ biàn zhǐ zhe zìjǐ qǐshì shuō ,
16 and said, “I swear by myself, declares the LORD, that because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son,
17 Lùn fú , wǒ bì cì dà fú gĕi nǐ . lùn zǐsūn , wǒ bì jiào nǐde zǐsūn duō qǐlai , rútóng tiān shàng de xīng , hǎi biān de shā . nǐ zǐsūn bì de zhe chóudí de chéng mén ,
17 I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession of the cities of their enemies,
18 Bìngqiĕ dì shàng wàn guó dōu bì yīn nǐde hòuyì de fú , yīnwei nǐ tīng cóng le wǒde huà .
18 and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me.”
19 Yúshì Yàbólāhǎn huí dào tā púrén nàli , tāmen yītóng qǐshēn wàng Bièshìbā qù , Yàbólāhǎn jiù zhù zaì Bièshìbā .
19 Then Abraham returned to his servants, and they set off together for Beersheba. And Abraham stayed in Beersheba.
20 Zhè shì yǐhòu , yǒu rén gàosu Yàbólāhǎn shuō , Mìjiā gĕi nǐ xiōngdi Náhè shēng le jǐ gè érzi ,
20 Some time later Abraham was told, “Milkah is also a mother; she has borne sons to your brother Nahor:
21 Zhǎngzǐ shì Wūsī , tāde xiōngdi shì Bùsī hé Yàlán de fùqin Jīmǔlì ,
21 Uz the firstborn, Buz his brother, Kemuel (the father of Aram),
22 Bīngjīxuē , Hāsuǒ , Bìdá , Yìlā , Bǐtǔlì ( Bǐtǔlì shēng Lìbǎijiā ) .
22 Kesed, Hazo, Pildash, Jidlaph and Bethuel.”
23 Zhè bā gèrén dōu shì Mìjiā gĕi Yàbólāhǎn de xiōngdi Náhè shēng de .
23 Bethuel became the father of Rebekah. Milkah bore these eight sons to Abraham’s brother Nahor.
24 Náhè de qiè míng jiào Liúmǎ , shēng le Tíbā , JiāHán , Tāxiá , hé Mǎjiā .
24 His concubine, whose name was Reumah, also had sons: Tebah, Gaham, Tahash and Maakah.
