1 Shén cì fú gĕi Nuóyà hé tāde érzi , duì tāmen shuō , nǐmen yào shēng yǎng zhòngduō , biàn mǎn le dì .

Then God blessed Noah and his sons, saying to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth.
2 Fán dì shàng de zǒushòu hé kòng zhòng de fēiniǎo , dōu bì jīngkǒng , jùpà nǐmen . lián dì shǎng yīqiè de kūnchóng bìng hǎi lǐ yīqiè de yú , dōu jiāofù nǐmen de shǒu .

The fear and dread of you will fall on all the beasts of the earth, and on all the birds in the sky, on every creature that moves along the ground, and on all the fish in the sea; they are given into your hands.
3 Fán huó zhe de dòngwù , dōu kĕyǐ zuò nǐmen de shíwù . zhè yīqiè wǒ dōu cìgĕi nǐmen , rútóng caìshū yíyàng .

Everything that lives and moves about will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you everything.
4 Wéidú ròu daì zhe xuè , nà jiù shì tā de shēngmìng , nǐmen bùkĕ chī .

“But you must not eat meat that has its lifeblood still in it.
5 Liú nǐmen xuè , haì nǐmen méng de , wúlùn shì shòu , shì rén , wǒ bì tǎo tāde zuì , jiù shì xiàng gèrén de dìxiōng yĕ shì rúcǐ .

And for your lifeblood I will surely demand an accounting. I will demand an accounting from every animal. And from each human being, too, I will demand an accounting for the life of another human being.
6 Fán liú rén xuè de , tāde xuè yĕ bì beì rén suǒ liú . yīnwei shén zào rén shì zhào zìjǐ de xíngxiàng zào de .

“Whoever sheds human blood, by humans shall their blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made mankind.
7 Nǐmen yào shēng yǎng zhòngduō , zaì dì shǎng chāngshèng fánmào .

As for you, be fruitful and increase in number; multiply on the earth and increase upon it.”
8 Shén xiǎoyù Nuóyà hé tāde érzi shuō ,

Then God said to Noah and to his sons with him:
9 Wǒ yǔ nǐmen hé nǐmen de hòuyì lì yuē ,

“I now establish my covenant with you and with your descendants after you
10 Bīng yǔ nǐmen zhèlǐ de yīqiè huó wù , jiù shì fēiniǎo , shēngchù , zǒushòu , fán cóng fāngzhōu lǐ chūlai de huó wù lì yuē .

and with every living creature that was with you—the birds, the livestock and all the wild animals, all those that came out of the ark with you—every living creature on earth.
11 Wǒ yǔ nǐmen lì yuē , fán yǒu xuèròu de , bú zaì beì hóngshuǐ mièjué , yĕ bú zaì yǒu hóngshuǐ huǐhuaì dì le .

I establish my covenant with you: Never again will all life be destroyed by the waters of a flood; never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth.”
12 Shén shuō , wǒ yǔ nǐmen bìng nǐmen zhèlǐ de gèyàng huó wù suǒ lì de yǒng yuē , shì yǒu jìhào de .

And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come:
13 Wǒ bǎ hóng fàng zaì yúncai zhōng , zhè jiù kĕ zuò wǒ yǔ dì lì yuē de jìhào le .

I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth.
14 Wǒ shǐ yúncai gaì dì de shíhou , bì yǒu hóng xiànzaì yúncai zhōng ,

Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds,
15 Wǒ biàn jìniàn wǒ yǔ nǐmen hé gèyàng yǒu xuèròu de huó wù suǒ lì de yuē , shuǐ jiù zaì bú fànlàn , huǐhuaì yīqiè yǒu xuèròu de wù le .

I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life.
16 Hóng bì xiànzaì yúncai zhòng , wǒ kànjian , jiù yào jìniàn wǒ yǔ dì shǎng gèyàng yǒu xuèròu de huó wù suǒ lì de yǒng yuē .

Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.”
17 Shén duì Nuóyà shuō , zhè jiù shì wǒ yǔ dì shǎng yīqiè yǒu xuèròu zhī wù lì yuē de jìhào le .

So God said to Noah, “This is the sign of the covenant I have established between me and all life on the earth.”
18 Chū fāngzhōu Nuóyà de érzi jiù shì Shǎn , Hán , Yǎfú . Hán shì Jiānán de fùqin .

The sons of Noah who came out of the ark were Shem, Ham and Japheth. (Ham was the father of Canaan.)
19 Zhè shì Nuóyà de sān gĕ érzi , tāmende hòuyì fēnsàn zaì quán dì .

These were the three sons of Noah, and from them came the people who were scattered over the whole earth.
20 Nuóyà zuò qǐ nóngfū lái , zāi le yī gĕ pútaóyuán .

Noah, a man of the soil, proceeded to plant a vineyard.
21 Tā hē le yuán zhōng de jiǔ biàn zuì le , zaì zhàngpéng lǐ chì zhe shēnzi .

When he drank some of its wine, he became drunk and lay uncovered inside his tent.
22 Jiānán de fùqin Hán , kànjian tā fùqin chì shēn , jiù dào waìbiān gàosu tā liǎng gĕ dìxiōng .

Ham, the father of Canaan, saw his father naked and told his two brothers outside.
23 Yúshì Shǎn hé Yǎfú , ná jiàn yīfu dā zaì jiān shǎng , dǎo tuì zhe jìn qù , gĕi tā fùqin gaì shǎng . tāmen beì zhe liǎn jiù kàn bù jiàn fùqin de chì shēn .

But Shem and Japheth took a garment and laid it across their shoulders; then they walked in backward and covered their father’s naked body. Their faces were turned the other way so that they would not see their father naked.
24 Nuóyà xǐng le jiǔ , zhīdào xiǎoér zǐ xiàng tā suǒ zuò de shì ,

When Noah awoke from his wine and found out what his youngest son had done to him,
25 Jiù shuō , Jiānán dāng shòu zhòuzǔ , bì gĕi tā dìxiōng zuò núpú de núpú .

he said, “Cursed be Canaan! The lowest of slaves will he be to his brothers.”
26 Yòu shuō , Yēhéhuá Shǎn de shén , shì yīngdāng chēngsòng de , yuàn Jiānán zuò Shǎn de núpú .

He also said, “Praise be to the LORD, the God of Shem! May Canaan be the slave of Shem.
27 Yuàn shén shǐ Yǎfú kuòzhāng , shǐ tā zhù zaì Shǎn de zhàngpéng lǐ , yòu yuàn Jiānán zuò tāde núpú .
27
May God extend Japheth’s territory; may Japheth live in the tents of Shem, and may Canaan be the slave of Japheth.”
28 Hóngshuǐ yǐhòu , Nuóyà yòu huó le sān bǎi wǔ shí nián .

After the flood Noah lived 350 years.
29 Nuóyà gōng huó le jiǔ bǎi wǔ shí suì jiù sǐ le .
29
Noah lived a total of 950 years, and then he died.
