1 Yuánlái qián yuē yǒu lǐbaì de tiaólì , hé shǔ shìjiè de shèng mù .
1 Now the first covenant had regulations for worship and also an earthly sanctuary.
2 Yīnwei yǒu yùbeì de zhàngmù , tóu yī céng jiào zuò shèng suǒ . lǐmiàn yǒu dēngtái , zhuōzi , hé chénshèbǐng .
2 A tabernacle was set up. In its first room were the lampstand and the table with its consecrated bread; this was called the Holy Place.
3 Dì èr mànzǐ hòu , yòu yǒu yī céng zhàngmù , jiào zuò zhì shèng suǒ .
3 Behind the second curtain was a room called the Most Holy Place,
4 Yǒu jīn xiāng lú , ( lú huò zuò tán ) yǒu bāo jīn de yuē guì , guì lǐ yǒu chéng mǎnǎ de jīn guàn , hé Yàlún fā guo yá de zhàng , bìng liǎng kuaì yuē bǎn .
4 which had the golden altar of incense and the gold-covered ark of the covenant. This ark contained the gold jar of manna, Aaron’s staff that had budded, and the stone tablets of the covenant.
5 Guì shàngmian yǒu róngyào Jīlùbǎi de yǐng shaó zhe shī ēn zuò . ( shī ēn yuánwén zuò bì zuì ) zhè jǐ jiàn wǒ xiànzaì bùnéng yī yī xì shuō .
5 Above the ark were the cherubim of the Glory, overshadowing the atonement cover. But we cannot discuss these things in detail now.
6 Zhèxie wùjiàn jì rúcǐ yùbeì qì le , zhòng jìsī jiù cháng jìn tóu yī céng zhàngmù , xíng baì shén de lǐ .
6 When everything had been arranged like this, the priests entered regularly into the outer room to carry on their ministry.
7 Zhìyú dì èr céng zhàngmù , wéiyǒu Dàjìsī yī nián yī cì dúzì jìn qù , méiyǒu bú daì zhe xiĕ , wèi zìjǐ hé bǎixìng de guò cuò xiànshang .
7 But only the high priest entered the inner room, and that only once a year, and never without blood, which he offered for himself and for the sins the people had committed in ignorance.
8 Shènglíng yòng cǐ zhǐ míng , tóu yī céng zhàngmù réng cún de shíhou , jìnrù zhì shèng suǒ de lù hái wèi xiǎnmíng .
8 The Holy Spirit was showing by this that the way into the Most Holy Place had not yet been disclosed as long as the first tabernacle was still functioning.
9 Nà tóu yī céng zhàngmù zuò xiànjīn de yī ge biǎoyàng , suǒ xiànshang de lǐwù hé jìwù , jiù zhe liángxīn shuō , dōu bùnéng jiào lǐbaì de rén déyǐ wánquán .
9 This is an illustration for the present time, indicating that the gifts and sacrifices being offered were not able to clear the conscience of the worshiper.
10 Zhèxie shì lián nà yǐnshí hé zhū bān xǐzhuó de guīju , dōu bú guò shì shǔ ròutǐ de tiaólì , méngdéng dào zhènxīng de shíhou wéizhǐ .
10 They are only a matter of food and drink and various ceremonial washings—external regulations applying until the time of the new order.
11 Dàn xiànzaì Jīdū yǐjing lái dào , zuò le jiānglái mĕi shì de Dàjìsī , jīngguò nà gèng dà gèng quánbeì de zhàngmù , bú shì rén shǒu suǒ zào yĕ bú shì shǔ hū zhè shìjiè de .
11 But when Christ came as high priest of the good things that are now already here, he went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not made with human hands, that is to say, is not a part of this creation.
12 Bìngqiĕ búyòng shānyáng hé niúdú de xiĕ , nǎi yòng zìjǐ de xiĕ , zhǐ yī cì jìnrù shèng suǒ , chéng le yǒngyuǎn shú zuì de shì .
12 He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption.
13 Ruò shānyáng hé gōngniú de xiĕ , bìng mǔ niúdú de huī sǎ zaì bù jié de rénshēn shang , shàngqiĕ jiào rén chéng shèng , shēntǐ jiéjìng .
13 The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that they are outwardly clean.
14 Hékuàng Jīdū jiè zhe yǒngyuǎn de líng , jiāng zìjǐ wú xiá wú cī xiàn gĕi shén , tāde xiĕ qǐbù gèng néng xǐ jìng nǐmen de xīn . ( yuánwén zuò liángxīn ) chú qù nǐmen de sǐ xíng , shǐ nǐmen shìfèng nà yǒngshēng shén ma .
14 How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!
15 Wèicǐ tā zuò le xīnyuē de zhōngbǎo . jìrán shòu sǐ shú le rén zaì qián yuē zhī shí suǒ fàn de zuì guo , biàn jiào méng zhào zhī rén dé zhaó suǒ yīngxǔ yǒngyuǎn de chǎnyè .
15 For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance—now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.
16 Fán yǒu yí méng , bìxū dĕng dào liú yí méng de rén sǐ le . ( yí méng yuánwén yǔ yuē zì tóng )
16 In the case of a will, it is necessary to prove the death of the one who made it,
17 Yīnwei rén sǐ le , yí méng cái yǒuxiào lì , ruò liú yí méng de shàng zaì , nà yí méng hái yǒu yòng chù ma .
17 because a will is in force only when somebody has died; it never takes effect while the one who made it is living.
18 Suǒyǐ qián yuē yĕ bú shì búyòng xiĕ lì de .
18 This is why even the first covenant was not put into effect without blood.
19 Yīnwei Móxī dāng rì zhào zhe lǜfǎ , jiāng gèyàng jièméng chuán gĕi zhòng bǎixìng , jiù ná zhūhóngsē róng hé niúxī cǎo , bǎ niúdú shānyáng de xiĕ hé shuǐ , sǎ zaì shū shang , yòu sǎ zaì zhòng bǎixìng shēnshang , shuō ,
19 When Moses had proclaimed every command of the law to all the people, he took the blood of calves, together with water, scarlet wool and branches of hyssop, and sprinkled the scroll and all the people.
20 Zhè xiĕ jiù shì shén yǔ nǐmen lì yuē de píngjù .
20 He said, “This is the blood of the covenant, which God has commanded you to keep.”
21 Tā yòu zhàoyàng bǎ xiĕ sǎ zaì zhàngmù , hé gèyàng qìmǐn shang .
21 In the same way, he sprinkled with the blood both the tabernacle and everything used in its ceremonies.
22 Àn zhe lǜfǎ , fán wù chàbuduō dōu shì yòng xiĕ jiéjìng de , ruò bù liúxuè , zuì jiù bùdé shèmiǎn le .
22 In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.
23 Zhào zhe tiān shang yàngshì zuò de wùjiàn , bìxū yòng zhèxie jìwù qù jiéjìng . dàn nà tiān shang de bĕn wù , zìrán dāng yòng gèng mĕi de jìwù qù jiéjìng .
23 It was necessary, then, for the copies of the heavenly things to be purified with these sacrifices, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.
24 Yīnwei Jīdū bìng bú shì jìn le rén shǒu suǒ zào de shèng suǒ , ( zhè bú guò shì zhēn shèng suǒ de yǐng xiàng ) nǎi shì jìn le tiān táng , rújīn wèi wǒmen xiǎn zaì shén miànqián .
24 For Christ did not enter a sanctuary made with human hands that was only a copy of the true one; he entered heaven itself, now to appear for us in God’s presence.
25 Yĕ bú shì duō cì jiāng zìjǐ xiànshang , xiàng nà Dàjìsī mĕi nián daì zhe niú yáng xiĕ jìnrù shèng suǒ . ( niú yáng de xiĕ yuánwén zuò bú shì zìjǐ de xiĕ )
25 Nor did he enter heaven to offer himself again and again, the way the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood that is not his own.
26 Rúguǒ zhèyàng , tā cóng chuàngshì yǐlái , jiù bì duō cì shòu kǔ le . dàn rújīn zaì zhè mòshì xiǎnxiàn yī cì , bǎ zìjǐ xiàn wéi jì , hǎo chúdiào zuì .
26 Otherwise Christ would have had to suffer many times since the creation of the world. But he has appeared once for all at the culmination of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of himself.
27 Àn zhe déng méng , rénrén dōu yǒu yī sǐ , sǐ hòu qiĕ yǒu shĕnpàn .
27 Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment,
28 Zhèyàng , Jīdū jìrán yī cì beì xiàn , dāndāng le duō rén de zuì , jiānglái yào xiàng nà dĕnghòu tāde rén dì èr cì xiǎnxiàn , bìng yǔ zuì wú guān , nǎi shì wèi zhĕngjiù tāmen .
28 so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.
