1 Yēhéhuá shuō , huò zāi , zhè beìnì de érnǚ . tāmen tóng móu , què bù yóuyú wǒ , jié méng , què bù yóuyú wǒde líng , yǐ zhì zuì shang jiā zuì .

“Woe to the obstinate children,” declares the LORD, “to those who carry out plans that are not mine, forming an alliance, but not by my Spirit, heaping sin upon sin;
2 Qǐshēn xià Āijí qù , bìng méiyǒu qiú wèn wǒ . yào kào fǎlǎo de lìliang , jiā tiān zìjǐ de lìliang , bìng tóu zaì Āijí de yīn xià .

who go down to Egypt without consulting me; who look for help to Pharaoh’s protection, to Egypt’s shade for refuge.
3 Suǒyǐ fǎlǎo de lìliang , bì zuò nǐmen de xiūrǔ , tóu zaì Āijí de yīn xià , yào wèi nǐmen de cánkuì .

But Pharaoh’s protection will be to your shame, Egypt’s shade will bring you disgrace.
4 Tāmende shǒulǐng yǐ zaì suǒ ān , tāmende shǐ chén dào le hā neì sī .

Though they have officials in Zoan and their envoys have arrived in Hanes,
5 Tāmen bì yīn nà bù lì yú tāmende mín méng xiū . nà mín bìng fēi bāngzhu , yĕ fēi lì yì , zhǐ zuò xiūchǐ língrǔ .

everyone will be put to shame because of a people useless to them, who bring neither help nor advantage, but only shame and disgrace.”
6 Lún nánfāng shēngchù de mò shì . tāmen bǎ cáiwù tuó zaì lü jū de jǐ bēi shang , jiāng bǎowù tuó zaì luòtuo de ròu ān shang , jīngguò jiān nán kùnkǔ zhī dì , jiù shì gōng shī , mǔ shī , fù shé , huǒyàn de fēi lóng zhī dì , wǎng nà bù lì yú tāmende mín nàli qù .

A prophecy concerning the animals of the Negev: Through a land of hardship and distress, of lions and lionesses, of adders and darting snakes, the envoys carry their riches on donkeys’ backs, their treasures on the humps of camels, to that unprofitable nation,
7 Āijí de bāngzhu shì túrán wúyì de . suǒyǐ wǒ chēng tā wèi zuò ér bù dòng de lā hā bó .

to Egypt, whose help is utterly useless. Therefore I call her Rahab the Do-Nothing.
8 Xiànjīn nǐ qù , zaì tāmen miànqián jiāng zhè huà kè zaì bǎn shang , xiĕ zaì shū shang , yǐbiàn liú chuán hòu shì , zhídào yǒng yǒngyuǎn yuǎn .

Go now, write it on a tablet for them, inscribe it on a scroll, that for the days to come it may be an everlasting witness.
9 Yīnwei tāmen shì beìnì de bǎixìng , shuōhuǎng de érnǚ , bù kĕn tīng cóng Yēhéhuá xùn huì de érnǚ .

For these are rebellious people, deceitful children, children unwilling to listen to the LORD’s instruction.
10 Tāmen duì xiān jiàn shuō , búyào wàng jiàn bù jí lì de shì , duì xiānzhī shuō , búyào xiàng wǒmen jiǎng zhèngzhí de huà , yào xiàng wǒmen shuō róu hé de huà , yán xū huàn de shì .

They say to the seers, “See no more visions!” and to the prophets, “Give us no more visions of what is right! Tell us pleasant things, prophesy illusions.
11 Nǐmen yào lí qì zhēng dào , piānlí zhí lù . búyào zaì wǒmen miànqián , zaì tí shuō Yǐsèliè de shèng zhĕ .

Leave this way, get off this path, and stop confronting us with the Holy One of Israel!”
12 Suǒyǐ Yǐsèliè de shèng zhĕ rúcǐ shuō , yīnwei nǐmen miǎoshì zhè xùn huì de huà , yī laì qīyē hé guāi pì , yǐ cǐ wèi kĕ kào de .

Therefore this is what the Holy One of Israel says: “Because you have rejected this message, relied on oppression and depended on deceit,
13 Gùcǐ , zhè zuìniè zaì nǐmen shēnshang , hǎoxiàng jiāngyào pòliè tū chūlai de gāo qiáng , qǐng kè zhī jiān , hūrán tān tā .

this sin will become for you like a high wall, cracked and bulging, that collapses suddenly, in an instant.
14 Yào beì dǎ suì , hǎoxiàng bǎ yáo jiàng de wǎ qì dǎ suì , haó bù gù xī , shènzhì suì kuaì zhōng zhǎo bù dào yī piān , kĕ yòng yǐ cóng lú neì qǔ huǒ , cóng chí zhōng yǎo shuǐ .

It will break in pieces like pottery, shattered so mercilessly that among its pieces not a fragment will be found for taking coals from a hearth or scooping water out of a cistern.”
15 Zhǔ Yēhéhuá Yǐsèliè de shèng zhĕ céng rúcǐ shuō , nǐmen déjiù zaìhu guī huí ānxī . nǐmen dé lì zaìhu píngjìng ānwĕn . nǐmen jìng zì bù kĕn .

This is what the Sovereign LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says: “In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength, but you would have none of it.
16 Nǐmen què shuō , bù rán , wǒmen yào qí mǎ bēnzǒu . suǒyǐ nǐmen bìrán bēnzǒu . yòu shuō , wǒmen yào qí fēi kuaì de shēngkou . suǒyǐ zhuīgǎn nǐmen de , yĕ bì fēi kuaì .

You said, ‘No, we will flee on horses.’ Therefore you will flee! You said, ‘We will ride off on swift horses.’ Therefore your pursuers will be swift!
17 Yī rén chì hē , bì líng qiā rén taópǎo . wǔ rén chì hē , nǐmen dōu bì taópǎo . yǐzhì shèngxia de , hǎoxiàng shāndǐng de qí gǎn , gāng shang de dà qí .

A thousand will flee at the threat of one; at the threat of five you will all flee away, till you are left like a flagstaff on a mountaintop, like a banner on a hill.”
18 Yēhéhuá bìrán dĕnghòu , yào shī ēn gĕi nǐmen . bìrán xīngqǐ , hǎo liánmǐn nǐmen . yīnwei Yēhéhuá shì gōngping de shén . fán dĕnghòu tāde , dōu shì yǒu fú de .

Yet the LORD longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the LORD is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!
19 Bǎixìng bì zaì Xī \'ān zaì Yēlùsǎlĕng jūzhù . nǐ bú zaì kūqì . zhǔ bì yīn nǐ āi qiú de shēngyīn shī ēn gĕi nǐ . tā tīngjian de shíhou , jiù bì yīngyún nǐ .

People of Zion, who live in Jerusalem, you will weep no more. How gracious he will be when you cry for help! As soon as he hears, he will answer you.
20 Zhǔ suīrán yǐ jiān nán gĕi nǐ dāng bǐng , yǐ kùnkǔ gĕi nǐ dāng shuǐ , nǐde jiāo shī què bú zaì yǐncáng , nǐ yǎn bì kànjian nǐde jiāo shī .

Although the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, your teachers will be hidden no more; with your own eyes you will see them.
21 Nǐ huò xiàng zuǒ , huò xiàng yòu , nǐ bì tīngjian hòumian yǒu shēngyīn shuō , zhè shì zhèng lù , yàoxíng zaì qí jiān .

Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”
22 Nǐ diāokè ǒuxiàng suǒ bāo de yínzi , hé zhùzào ǒuxiàng suǒ dù de jīnzi , nǐ yào diànwū , yào pāo qì , hǎoxiàng wūhuì zhī wù , duì ǒuxiàng shuō , qù ba .

Then you will desecrate your idols overlaid with silver and your images covered with gold; you will throw them away like a menstrual cloth and say to them, “Away with you!”
23 Nǐ jiāng zhǒngzǐ sǎ zaì dì lǐ , zhǔ bì jiàng yǔ zaì qí shang . bìng shǐ dì suǒ chū de liáng féimĕi fēngshèng . dào nàshí nǐde shēngchù , bì zaì kuānkuò de cǎo cháng chī cǎo .

He will also send you rain for the seed you sow in the ground, and the food that comes from the land will be rich and plentiful. In that day your cattle will graze in broad meadows.
24 Gēngdì de niú hé lü jū , bì chī jiā yán de liào . zhè liào shì yòng mù Xiān hé chā zǐ yáng jìng de .

The oxen and donkeys that work the soil will eat fodder and mash, spread out with fork and shovel.
25 Zaì dà xíng shā lù de rìzi , gāo tái dǎotā de shíhou , ge gāo shāngāng líng , bì yǒu chuān liú hé yǒng .

In the day of great slaughter, when the towers fall, streams of water will flow on every high mountain and every lofty hill.
26 Dāng Yēhéhuá chán guǒ tā bǎixìng de sún chù , yīzhì tā mín biān shāng de rìzi , yuèguāng bì xiàng rì guāng , rì guāng Bìjiā qī beì , xiàng qī rì de guāng yíyàng .

The moon will shine like the sun, and the sunlight will be seven times brighter, like the light of seven full days, when the LORD binds up the bruises of his people and heals the wounds he inflicted.
27 Kàn nǎ , Yēhéhuá de míng cóng yuǎnfāng lái , nùqì shāo qǐ , mì yān shang téng . tāde zuǐchún mǎn yǒu fèn hèn , tāde shétou xiàng tūn miè de huǒ .

See, the Name of the LORD comes from afar, with burning anger and dense clouds of smoke; his lips are full of wrath, and his tongue is a consuming fire.
28 Tāde qì rú zhǎng yì de hé shuǐ , zhí zhǎng dào jǐngxiàng , yào yòng huǐmiè de shāi luó , shāi jìng liè guó . bìngqiĕ zaì zhòng mín de kǒu zhōng , bì yǒu shǐ rén cuò xíng de jiaóhuán .

His breath is like a rushing torrent, rising up to the neck. He shakes the nations in the sieve of destruction; he places in the jaws of the peoples a bit that leads them astray.
29 Nǐmen bì chàng gē , xiàng shǒu shèng jié de yè jiān yíyàng . bìngqiĕ xīn zhōng xǐlè , xiàng rén chuī dí , shang Yēhéhuá de shān , dào Yǐsèliè de pánshí nàli .

And you will sing as on the night you celebrate a holy festival; your hearts will rejoice as when people playing pipes go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the Rock of Israel.
30 Yēhéhuá bì shǐ rén tīng tā wēiyán de shēngyīn , yòu xiǎn tā jiàng fá de bì páng , hé tā nù zhōng de fèn hèn , bìng tūn miè de huǒyàn , yǔ pī léi , bàofēng , bīngbaó .

The LORD will cause people to hear his majestic voice and will make them see his arm coming down with raging anger and consuming fire, with cloudburst, thunderstorm and hail.
31 Yàshù rén bì yīn Yēhéhuá de shēngyīn jīng huáng . Yēhéhuá bì yòng zhàng jī dá tā .

The voice of the LORD will shatter Assyria; with his rod he will strike them down.
32 Yēhéhuá bìjiāng méngdéng de zhàng , jiā zaì tā shēnshang , mĕi dá yī xià , rén bì jī gǔ tán qín . dǎzhàng de shíhou , Yēhéhuá bì lún qǐ shǒu lái , yǔ tā jiāo zhàn .

Every stroke the LORD lays on them with his punishing club will be to the music of timbrels and harps, as he fights them in battle with the blows of his arm.
33 Yuánlái tuó fĕi tè yòu shēn yòu kuān , zǎo Yǐwèi wáng yùbeì hǎo le , qízhōng duī de shì huǒ , yǔ xǔduō mù chái . Yēhéhuá de qì rú yī gǔ liúhuáng huǒ , shǐ tā zhe qǐlai .

Topheth has long been prepared; it has been made ready for the king. Its fire pit has been made deep and wide, with an abundance of fire and wood; the breath of the LORD, like a stream of burning sulfur, sets it ablaze.
