1 Kuàngyĕ hé gān hàn zhī dì , bìrán huānxǐ . shā mò yĕ bì kuaìlè . yòu xiàng méi guī kāi huā .

The desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilderness will rejoice and blossom. Like the crocus,
2 Bì kāi huā pó shèng , lè shang Jiālè , érqiĕ huānhū . Lìbānèn de róngyào , bìng Jiāmì yǔ Shālún de huámĕi , bì cìgĕi tā . rén bì kànjian Yēhéhuá de róngyào , wǒmen shén de huámĕi .

it will burst into bloom; it will rejoice greatly and shout for joy. The glory of Lebanon will be given to it, the splendor of Carmel and Sharon; they will see the glory of the LORD, the splendor of our God.
3 Nǐmen yào shǐ ruǎnfuò de shǒu jiān zhuàng , wúlì de xī wĕngù .

Strengthen the feeble hands, steady the knees that give way;
4 Duì dǎnqiè de rén shuō , nǐmen yào gāngqiáng , búyào jùpà . kàn nǎ , nǐmen de shén bì lái bàochóu , bì lái shīxíng jí dà de bàoyìng , tā bì lái zhĕngjiù nǐmen .

say to those with fearful hearts, “Be strong, do not fear; your God will come, he will come with vengeance; with divine retribution he will come to save you.”
5 Nàshí xiāzi de yǎn bì zhēng kāi , lóngzi de ĕr bì kāi tōng .

Then will the eyes of the blind be opened and the ears of the deaf unstopped.
6 Nàshí quèzi bì tiàoyuè xiàng lù , yǎba de shétou bì néng gē chàng . zaì kuàngyĕ bì yǒu shuǐ fāchū , zaì shā mò bì yǒu hé yǒng liú .

Then will the lame leap like a deer, and the mute tongue shout for joy. Water will gush forth in the wilderness and streams in the desert.
7 Fāguāng de shā , ( huò zuò shèn lóu ) yào biàn wèi shuǐ chí , gān kĕ zhī dì , yào biàn wèi quányuán . zaì yĕ gǒu tǎng wò zhī chù , bì yǒu qīngcǎo , lúwĕi , hé púcǎo .

The burning sand will become a pool, the thirsty ground bubbling springs. In the haunts where jackals once lay, grass and reeds and papyrus will grow.
8 Zaì nàli bì yǒu yī tiaó dà dào , chēngwèi shèng lù . wūhuì rén bùdé jīngguò , bì zhuān wèi shú mín xíng zǒu , xíng lù de rén suī yúmeì , yĕ bù zhì shī mí .

And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness; it will be for those who walk on that Way. The unclean will not journey on it; wicked fools will not go about on it.
9 Zaì nàli bì méiyǒu shīzi , mĕng shòu yĕ bù dēng zhè lù , zaì nàli dōu yù bù jiàn . zhǐyǒu shú mín zaì nàli xíng zǒu .

No lion will be there, nor any ravenous beast; they will not be found there. But only the redeemed will walk there,
10 Bìngqiĕ Yēhéhuá jiùshú de mín bì guī huí , gē chàng lái dào Xī \'ān . yǒng lè bì guī dào tāmende tóu shang , tāmen bì dé zhe huānxǐ kuaìlè , yōuchóu tànxī jǐn dōu taóbì .

and those the LORD has rescued will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.
