1 Isaías ora por Jerusalén<br />Debido a que amo a Sión,<br />no me quedaré quieto.<br />Debido a que mi corazón suspira por Jerusalén,<br />no puedo quedarme callado.<br />No dejaré de orar por ella<br />hasta que su justicia resplandezca como el amanecer<br />y su salvación arda como una antorcha encendida.

2 Las naciones verán tu justicia<br />y los líderes del mundo quedarán cegados por tu gloria.<br />Tú recibirás un nombre nuevo<br />de la boca del Señor<br /> mismo.

3 El Señor<br /> te sostendrá en su mano para que todos te vean,<br />como una corona espléndida en la mano de Dios.

4 Nunca más te llamarán «La ciudad abandonada»<br />ni «La tierra desolada»<br />.<br />Tu nuevo nombre será «La ciudad del deleite de Dios»<br />y «La esposa de Dios»<br />,<br />porque el Señor<br /> se deleita en ti<br />y te reclamará como su esposa.

5 Tus hijos se dedicarán a ti, oh Jerusalén,<br />como un joven se dedica a su esposa.<br />Entonces Dios se regocijará por ti<br />como el esposo se regocija por su esposa.

6 Oh Jerusalén, yo he puesto centinelas en tus murallas;<br />ellos orarán continuamente, de día y de noche.<br />No descansen, ustedes que dirigen sus oraciones al Señor<br />.

7 No le den descanso al Señor<br /> hasta que termine su obra,<br />hasta que haga de Jerusalén el orgullo de toda la tierra.

8 El Señor<br /> le ha jurado a Jerusalén por su propia fuerza:<br />«Nunca más te entregaré a tus enemigos;<br />nunca más vendrán guerreros extranjeros<br />para llevarse tu grano y tu vino nuevo.

9 Ustedes cultivaron el grano, y ustedes lo comerán,<br />alabando al Señor<br />.<br />Dentro de los atrios del templo,<br />ustedes mismos beberán el vino que prensaron».

10 ¡Salgan por las puertas!<br />¡Preparen la carretera para el regreso de mi pueblo!<br />Emparejen el camino, saquen las rocas<br />y levanten una bandera para que la vean todas las naciones.

11 El Señor<br /> ha enviado el siguiente mensaje a cada país:<br />«Díganle al pueblo de Israel:<br />“Miren, ya viene su Salvador.<br />Vean, él trae consigo su recompensa”».

12 Serán llamados «El pueblo santo»<br />y «El pueblo redimido por el Señor<br />».<br />Y Jerusalén será conocida como «El lugar deseable»<br />y «La ciudad ya no abandonada».

New International Version NIV

1 For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, for Jerusalem’s sake I will not remain quiet, till her vindication shines out like the dawn, her salvation like a blazing torch.

2 The nations will see your vindication, and all kings your glory; you will be called by a new name that the mouth of the LORD will bestow.

3 You will be a crown of splendor in the LORD’s hand, a royal diadem in the hand of your God.

4 No longer will they call you Deserted, or name your land Desolate. But you will be called Hephzibah,and your land Beulah ; for the LORD will take delight in you, and your land will be married.

5 As a young man marries a young woman, so will your Builder marry you; as a bridegroom rejoices over his bride, so will your God rejoice over you.

6 I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the LORD, give yourselves no rest,

7 and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth.

8 The LORD has sworn by his right hand and by his mighty arm: “Never again will I give your grain as food for your enemies, and never again will foreigners drink the new wine for which you have toiled;

9 but those who harvest it will eat it and praise the LORD, and those who gather the grapes will drink it in the courts of my sanctuary.”

10 Pass through, pass through the gates! Prepare the way for the people. Build up, build up the highway! Remove the stones. Raise a banner for the nations.

11 The LORD has made proclamation to the ends of the earth: “Say to Daughter Zion, ‘See, your Savior comes! See, his reward is with him, and his recompense accompanies him.’ ”

12 They will be called the Holy People, the Redeemed of the LORD; and you will be called Sought After, the City No Longer Deserted.
