1 Yǐsèliè jiā a , yào tīng Yēhéhuá duì nǐmen suǒ shuō de huà .

Hear what the LORD says to you, people of Israel.
2 Yēhéhuá rúcǐ shuō , nǐmen búyào xiàofǎ liè guó de xíngwéi , yĕ búyào wèi tiān xiàng jīng huáng , yīn liè guó wèicǐ shì jīng huáng .

This is what the LORD says: “Do not learn the ways of the nations or be terrified by signs in the heavens, though the nations are terrified by them.
3 Zhòng mín de fēngsú shì xū kōng de . tāmen zaì shùlín zhōng yòng fǔzi kǎn fá yī kē shù , jiàngrén yòng shǒngōng zàochéng ǒuxiàng .

For the practices of the peoples are worthless; they cut a tree out of the forest, and a craftsman shapes it with his chisel.
4 Tāmen yòng jīn yín zhuāngshì tā , yòng déng zǐ hé chuí zǐ déng wĕn , shǐ tā bú dòng yáo .

They adorn it with silver and gold; they fasten it with hammer and nails so it will not totter.
5 Tā hǎoxiàng zōng shù , shì xuàn chéng de , bùnéng shuōhuà , bùnéng xíng zǒu , bìxū yǒu rén tái zhe . nǐmen búyào pà tā . tā bùnéng jiàng huò , yĕ wúlì jiàng fú .

Like a scarecrow in a cucumber field, their idols cannot speak; they must be carried because they cannot walk. Do not fear them; they can do no harm nor can they do any good.”
6 Yēhéhuá a , méiyǒu néng bǐ nǐde . nǐ bĕn wéi dà , yǒu dà néng dàlì de míng .

No one is like you, LORD; you are great, and your name is mighty in power.
7 Wàn guó de wáng a , shuí bú jìngwèi nǐ . jìngwèi nǐ bĕn shì gĕ/hé yí de . yīnwei zaì liè guó de zhìhuì rén zhōng , suī yǒu zhèngquán de zūnróng , yĕ bùnéng bǐ nǐ .

Who should not fear you, King of the nations? This is your due. Among all the wise leaders of the nations and in all their kingdoms, there is no one like you.
8 Tāmen jǐn dōu shì chùleì , shì yúmeì de . ǒuxiàng de xùn huì suàn shénme ne . ǒuxiàng bú guo shì mùtou .

They are all senseless and foolish; they are taught by worthless wooden idols.
9 Yǒu yínzi dá chéng piān , shì cóng Tāshī daì lái de , bìng yǒu cóng wū fǎ lái de jīnzi , dōu shì jiàngrén hé yín jiàng de shǒngōng , yòu yǒu lán sè zǐse liào de yīfu , dōu shì qiǎo jiàng de gōngzuò .

Hammered silver is brought from Tarshish and gold from Uphaz. What the craftsman and goldsmith have made is then dressed in blue and purple— all made by skilled workers.
10 Wéi Yēhéhuá shì zhēn shén , shì huó shén , shì yǒngyuǎn de wáng . tā yī fānù , dàdì zhèndòng . tā yī nǎohèn , liè guó dōu dāndāng bù qǐ .

But the LORD is the true God; he is the living God, the eternal King. When he is angry, the earth trembles; the nations cannot endure his wrath.
11 Nǐmen yào duì tāmen rúcǐ shuō , bú shì nà chuàngzào tiāndì de shén , bì cóng dì shang cóng tiān xià beì chúmiĕ .

“Tell them this: ‘These gods, who did not make the heavens and the earth, will perish from the earth and from under the heavens.’ ”
12 Yēhéhuá yòng nénglì chuàngzào dàdì , yòng zhìhuì jiànlì shìjiè , yòng cōngming pū zhāng qióng cāng .

But God made the earth by his power; he founded the world by his wisdom and stretched out the heavens by his understanding.
13 Tā yī fā shēng , kōng zhōng biàn yǒu duō shuǐ jīdòng . tā shǐ yúnwù cóng dìjí shang téng . tā zào diàn suí yǔ ér Shǎn , cóng tā fǔ kù zhōng daì chū fēng lái .

When he thunders, the waters in the heavens roar; he makes clouds rise from the ends of the earth. He sends lightning with the rain and brings out the wind from his storehouses.
14 Gèrén dōu chéng le chùleì , haó wúzhī shí . gĕ yín jiàng dōu yīn tā diāokè de ǒuxiàng xiūkuì . tā suǒ zhù de ǒuxiàng bĕn shì xūjiǎ de , qízhōng bìng wú qìxī ,

Everyone is senseless and without knowledge; every goldsmith is shamed by his idols. The images he makes are a fraud; they have no breath in them.
15 Dōu shì xū wú de , shì míhuò rén de gōngzuò . dào zhuī tǎo de shíhou bì beì chúmiĕ .

They are worthless, the objects of mockery; when their judgment comes, they will perish.
16 Yǎgè de fēn bú xiàng zhèxie , yīn tā shì zào zuò wàn yǒude zhǔ . Yǐsèliè yĕ shì tā chǎnyè de zhīpaì , wàn jūn zhī Yēhéhuá shì tāde míng .

He who is the Portion of Jacob is not like these, for he is the Maker of all things, including Israel, the people of his inheritance— the LORD Almighty is his name.
17 Shòu wéi kùn de rén nǎ , dāng shōushi nǐde cáiwù , cóng guó zhōng daì chū qù .

Gather up your belongings to leave the land, you who live under siege.
18 Yīnwei Yēhéhuá rúcǐ shuō , zhè shíhou , wǒ bìjiāng cǐ dì de jūmín , hǎoxiàng yòng jī xián shuǎi chū qù , yòu Bìjiā haì zaì tāmen shēnshang , shǐ tāmen juéwù .

For this is what the LORD says: “At this time I will hurl out those who live in this land; I will bring distress on them so that they may be captured.”
19 Mín shuō , huò zāi . wǒ shòu sún shāng . wǒde shāng hén jíqí zhòng dà . wǒ què shuō , zhè zhēn shì wǒde tòngkǔ , bìxū rĕnshòu .

Woe to me because of my injury! My wound is incurable! Yet I said to myself, “This is my sickness, and I must endure it.”
20 Wǒde zhàngpéng huǐhuaì . wǒde shéng suǒ zhé duàn . wǒde érnǚ lí wǒ chū qù , méiyǒu le . wú rén zaì zhī dā wǒde zhàngpéng , guà qǐ wǒde mànzǐ .

My tent is destroyed; all its ropes are snapped. My children are gone from me and are no more; no one is left now to pitch my tent or to set up my shelter.
21 Yīnwei mùrén dōu chéngwéi chùleì , méiyǒu qiú wèn Yēhéhuá , suǒyǐ bùdé shùnlì . tāmende yáng qún yĕ dōu fēnsàn .

The shepherds are senseless and do not inquire of the LORD; so they do not prosper and all their flock is scattered.
22 Yǒu fēngshēng . kàn nǎ , dírén lái le . yǒu dà rǎoluàn cóng bĕi fāng chūlai , yào shǐ Yóudà chéngyì biàn wèi huāngliáng , chéngwéi yĕ gǒu de zhù chù .

Listen! The report is coming— a great commotion from the land of the north! It will make the towns of Judah desolate, a haunt of jackals.
23 Yēhéhuá a , wǒ xiǎodé rén de dàolù bù yóu zìjǐ , xíng lù de rén yĕ bùnéng déng zìjǐ de jiǎobù .

LORD, I know that people’s lives are not their own; it is not for them to direct their steps.
24 Yēhéhuá a , qiú nǐ cóng kuān chéng zhì wǒ , búyào zaì nǐde nù zhōng chéng zhì wǒ , kǒngpà shǐ wǒ guīyú wú yǒu .

Discipline me, LORD, but only in due measure— not in your anger, or you will reduce me to nothing.
25 Yuàn nǐ jiāng fèn nù qīng zaì bú rènshi nǐde liè guó zhōng , hé bù qiúgào nǐ míng de gĕ zú shang . yīnwei tāmen tūn le Yǎgè , búdàn tūn le , érqiĕ mièjué , bǎ tāde zhù chù biàn wèi huāng cháng .

Pour out your wrath on the nations that do not acknowledge you, on the peoples who do not call on your name. For they have devoured Jacob; they have devoured him completely and destroyed his homeland.
