7 Als het heir des konings van Babel streed tegen Jeruzalem, en tegen al de overgeblevene steden van Juda, tegen Lachis en tegen Azeka; want deze, zijnde vaste steden, waren overgebleven onder de steden van Juda.
7 while the army of the king of Babylon was fighting against Jerusalem and the other cities of Judah that were still holding out—Lachish and Azekah. These were the only fortified cities left in Judah.
