1 Yóudà wáng Xīdǐjiā dì jiǔ nián shí yuè , Bābǐlún wáng Níbùjiǎnísǎ shuaìlǐng quán jūn lái wéi kùn Yēlùsǎlĕng .
1 In the ninth year of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the tenth month, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon marched against Jerusalem with his whole army and laid siege to it.
2 Xī dǐ jiā shí yī nián sì yuè chū jiǔ rì , chéng beì gōng pò .
2 And on the ninth day of the fourth month of Zedekiah’s eleventh year, the city wall was broken through.
3 Yēlùsǎlĕng beì gōng qǔ de shíhou , Bābǐlún wáng de shǒulǐng ní jiǎ shā lì xuē , sān Jiǎní bō , sǎ xī jīn , lā sǎ lì , ní jiǎ shā lì xuē , lā mò , bìng Bābǐlún wáng qíyú de yīqiè shǒulǐng dōu lái zuò zaì zhōng mén .
3 Then all the officials of the king of Babylon came and took seats in the Middle Gate: Nergal-Sharezer of Samgar, Nebo-Sarsekim a chief officer, Nergal-Sharezer a high official and all the other officials of the king of Babylon.
4 Yóudà wáng Xīdǐjiā hé yīqiè bīng dīng kànjian tāmen , jiù zaì yè jiān cóng kàojìn wáng yuán liǎng chéng zhōngjiān de mén chū chéng taópǎo , wǎng Yàlá bā taó qù .
4 When Zedekiah king of Judah and all the soldiers saw them, they fled; they left the city at night by way of the king’s garden, through the gate between the two walls, and headed toward the Arabah.
5 Jiālèdǐ de jūnduì zhuīgǎn tāmen , zaì Yēlìgē de píngyuán zhuī shang Xīdǐjiā , jiāng tā ná zhù , daì dào Hāmǎ dì de lì Bǐlā , Bābǐlún wáng Níbùjiǎnísǎ nàli . Níbùjiǎnísǎ jiù shĕnpàn tā .
5 But the Babylonian army pursued them and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho. They captured him and took him to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon at Riblah in the land of Hamath, where he pronounced sentence on him.
6 Bābǐlún wáng zaì lì Bǐlā , Xīdǐjiā yǎnqián shā le tāde zhòng zǐ , yòu shā le Yóudà de yīqiè guìzhòu ,
6 There at Riblah the king of Babylon slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes and also killed all the nobles of Judah.
7 Bìngqiĕ wān Xīdǐjiā de yǎnjing , yòng tóng liàn suǒ zhe tā , yào daì dào Bābǐlún qù .
7 Then he put out Zedekiah’s eyes and bound him with bronze shackles to take him to Babylon.
8 Jiālèdǐ rén yòng huǒ fùnshāo wánggōng hé bǎixìng de fángwū , yòu chāihuǐ Yēlùsǎlĕng de chéngqiáng .
8 The Babylonians set fire to the royal palace and the houses of the people and broke down the walls of Jerusalem.
9 Nàshí , hùwèi zhǎng ní bù Sǎlā dàn jiāng chéng lǐ suǒ shèngxia de bǎixìng hé tóu jiàng tāde taó mín , yǐjí qíyú de mín dōu lǔ dào Bābǐlún qù le .
9 Nebuzaradan commander of the imperial guard carried into exile to Babylon the people who remained in the city, along with those who had gone over to him, and the rest of the people.
10 Hùwèi zhǎng ní bù Sǎlā dàn què jiāng mín zhōng haó wú suǒyǒude qióngrén liú zaì Yóudà dì , dāngshí gĕi tāmen pútaóyuán hé tiándì .
10 But Nebuzaradan the commander of the guard left behind in the land of Judah some of the poor people, who owned nothing; and at that time he gave them vineyards and fields.
11 Bābǐlún wáng Níbùjiǎnísǎ tí dào Yēlìmǐ , zhǔfu hùwèi zhǎng ní bù Sǎlā dàn shuō ,
11 Now Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had given these orders about Jeremiah through Nebuzaradan commander of the imperial guard:
12 Nǐ lǐng tā qù , hǎo hǎo de kàndaì tā , qiē bùkĕ haì tā . tā duì nǐ zĕnme shuō , nǐ jiù xiàng tā zĕnme xíng .
12 “Take him and look after him; don’t harm him but do for him whatever he asks.”
13 Hùwèi zhǎng ní bù Sǎlā dàn hé ní bù shā sī bān , lā sǎ lì , ní jiǎ shā lì xuē , lā mò , bìng Bābǐlún wáng de yīqiè guān zhǎng ,
13 So Nebuzaradan the commander of the guard, Nebushazban a chief officer, Nergal-Sharezer a high official and all the other officers of the king of Babylon
14 Dǎfa rén qù , jiāng Yēlìmǐ cóng hùwèi bīng yuàn zhōng tíchū lái , jiāo yǔ shā pān de sūnzi yà xī gān de érziJīdàlì , daì huí jiā qù . yúshì Yēlìmǐ zhù zaì mín zhōng .
14 sent and had Jeremiah taken out of the courtyard of the guard. They turned him over to Gedaliah son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, to take him back to his home. So he remained among his own people.
15 Yēlìmǐ hái qiú zaì hùwèi bīng yuàn zhōng de shíhou , Yēhéhuá de huà líndào tā shuō ,
15 While Jeremiah had been confined in the courtyard of the guard, the word of the LORD came to him:
16 Nǐ qù gàosu Gǔshí rén yǐ bǎi mǐ lè shuō , wàn jūn zhī Yēhéhuá Yǐsèliè de shén rúcǐ shuō , wǒ shuō jiàng huò bú jiàng fú de huà bì líndào zhè chéng , dào nàshí bì zaì nǐ miànqián chéngjiù le .
16 “Go and tell Ebed-Melek the Cushite, ‘This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: I am about to fulfill my words against this city—words concerning disaster, not prosperity. At that time they will be fulfilled before your eyes.
17 Yēhéhuá shuō , dào nà rì wǒ bì zhĕngjiù nǐ , nǐ bì bú zhì jiāo zaì nǐ suǒ pà de rén shǒu zhōng .
17 But I will rescue you on that day, declares the LORD; you will not be given into the hands of those you fear.
18 Wǒ déng yào dājiù nǐ , nǐ bù zhì dào zaì dāo xià , què yào yǐ zìjǐ de méng wéi lüè wù , yīn nǐ yǐkào wǒ . zhè shì Yēhéhuá shuō de .
18 I will save you; you will not fall by the sword but will escape with your life, because you trust in me, declares the LORD.’ ”
