Joel 3:1-7

CJB 1 "For then, at that time, when I restore the fortunes of Y'hudah and Yerushalayim, NIV 1 “In those days and at that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, CJB 2 I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Y'hoshafat [ADONAI judges]. I will enter into judgment there for my people, my heritage Isra'el, whom they scattered among the nations; then they divided my land. NIV 2 I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat.There I will put them on trial for what they did to my inheritance, my people Israel, because they scattered my people among the nations and divided up my land. CJB 3 They drew lots for my people, traded boys for whores, sold girls for wine to drink. NIV 3 They cast lots for my people and traded boys for prostitutes; they sold girls for wine to drink. CJB 4 "Moreover, what have you against me, Tzor, Tzidon, all parts of P'leshet? Are you paying me back for something I did? If you're paying me back for something I did, then easily, quickly, I'll pay you back right on your own head. NIV 4 “Now what have you against me, Tyre and Sidon and all you regions of Philistia? Are you repaying me for something I have done? If you are paying me back, I will swiftly and speedily return on your own heads what you have done. CJB 5 You took my silver and gold. You brought my good treasures into your temples. NIV 5 For you took my silver and my gold and carried off my finest treasures to your temples. CJB 6 The people of Y'hudah and Yerushalayim you sold to the Greeks, so that you could remove them far away from their land. NIV 6 You sold the people of Judah and Jerusalem to the Greeks, that you might send them far from their homeland. CJB 7 I will rouse them from the place where you sold them and pay you back right on your own head NIV 7 “See, I am going to rouse them out of the places to which you sold them, and I will return on your own heads what you have done.
