John 16:20-22

NAS 20 "Truly, truly, I say to you, that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; you will grieve, but your grief will be turned into joy. NIV 20 Very truly I tell you, you will weep and mourn while the world rejoices. You will grieve, but your grief will turn to joy. NAS 21 "Whenever a woman is in labor she has pain, because her hour has come; but when she gives birth to the child, she no longer remembers the anguish because of the joy that a child has been born into the world. NIV 21 A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world. NAS 22 "Therefore you too have grief now; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you. NIV 22 So with you: Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.
