1 On the third day a wedding took place at Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there,
2 Yēsū hé tāde méntǔ yĕ beì qǐng qù fù xí .
2 and Jesus and his disciples had also been invited to the wedding.
3 Jiǔ yòng jìn le , Yēsū de mǔqin duì tā shuō , tāmen méiyǒu jiǔ le .
3 When the wine was gone, Jesus’ mother said to him, “They have no more wine.”
4 Yēsū shuō , mǔqin , ( yuánwén zuò "fùrén" ) wǒ yǔ nǐ yǒu shénme xiānggān . wǒde shíhou hái méiyǒu dào .
4 “Woman,why do you involve me?” Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come.”
5 Tā mǔqin duì yòng rén shuō , tā gàosu nǐmen shénme , nǐmen jiù zuò shénme .
5 His mother said to the servants, “Do whatever he tells you.”
6 Zhào Yóutaìrén jiéjìng de guīju , yǒu liù kǒu gāng bǎi zaì nàli , mĕi kǒu kĕyǐ chéng liǎng sān Tǒng shuǐ .
6 Nearby stood six stone water jars, the kind used by the Jews for ceremonial washing, each holding from twenty to thirty gallons.
7 Yēsū duì yòng rén shuō , bǎ gāng dào mǎn le shuǐ . tāmen jiù dào mǎn le , zhídào gāng kǒu .
7 Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water”; so they filled them to the brim.
8 Yēsū yòu shuō , xiànzaì kĕyǐ yǎo chūlai , sòng gĕi guǎn yánxí de . tāmen jiù sòng le qù .
8 Then he told them, “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet.”They did so,
9 Guǎn yánxí cháng le nà shuǐ biàn de jiǔ , bìng bù zhīdào shì nàli lái de , zhǐyǒu yǎo shuǐ de yòng rén zhīdào . guǎn yánxí de biàn jiào xīnláng lái .
9 and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside
10 Duì tā shuō , rén dōu shì xiān bǎi shang hǎojiǔ . dĕng kè hē zú le , cái bǎi shàngcì de . nǐ dào bǎ hàojiǔ liú dào rújīn .
10 and said, “Everyone brings out the choice wine first and then the cheaper wine after the guests have had too much to drink; but you have saved the best till now.”
11 Zhè shì Yēsū suǒ xíng de tóu yī jiàn shénjī , shì zaì Jiālìlì de Jiāná xíng de , xiǎn chū tāde róngyào lái . tāde méntǔ jiù xìn tā le .
11 What Jesus did here in Cana of Galilee was the first of the signs through which he revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him.
12 Zhè shì yǐhòu , Yēsū yǔ tāde mǔqin dìxiōng hé méntǔ , dōu xià Jiābǎinóng qù . zaì nàli zhù le bù duō jǐ rì .
12 After this he went down to Capernaum with his mother and brothers and his disciples. There they stayed for a few days.
13 Yóutaìrén de Yúyuèjié jìn le , Yēsū jiù shàng Yēlùsǎlĕng qù .
13 When it was almost time for the Jewish Passover, Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
14 Kànjian diàn lǐ yǒu maì niú yáng gēzi de , bìng yǒu duìhuàn yínqián de rén , zuò zaì nàli .
14 In the temple courts he found people selling cattle, sheep and doves, and others sitting at tables exchanging money.
15 Yēsū jiù ná shéngzi zuò chéng biān zǐ , bǎ niú yáng dōu gǎn chū diàn qù . dào chū duìhuàn yínqián zhī rén de yínqián , tuīfān tāmende zhuōzi .
15 So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables.
16 Yòu duì maì gēzi de shuō , bǎ zhèxie dōngxi ná qù . búyào jiāng wǒ fù de diàn , dàng zuò mǎimaì de dìfang .
16 To those who sold doves he said, “Get these out of here! Stop turning my Father’s house into a market!”
17 Tāde méntǔ jiù xiǎngqǐ jīng shang jì zhe shuō , wǒ wèi nǐde diàn , xīnli jiāojí , rútóng huǒshào .
17 His disciples remembered that it is written: “Zeal for your house will consume me.”
18 Yīncǐ , Yóutaìrén wèn tā shuō , nǐ jì zuò zhèxie shì , hái xiǎn shénme shénjī gĕi wǒmen kàn ne .
18 The Jews then responded to him, “What sign can you show us to prove your authority to do all this?”
19 Yēsū huídá shuō , nǐmen chāihuǐ zhè diàn , wǒ sān rì neì yào zaì jiànlì qǐlai .
19 Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days.”
20 Yóutaìrén biàn shuō , zhè diàn shì sì shí liù nián cái zàochéng de , nǐ sān rì neì jiù zaì jiànlì qǐlai ma .
20 They replied, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you are going to raise it in three days?”
21 Dàn Yēsū zhè huà , shì yǐ tāde shēntǐ wéi diàn .
21 But the temple he had spoken of was his body.
22 Suǒyǐ dào tā cóng sǐ lǐ fùhuó yǐhòu , méntǔ jiù xiǎngqǐ tā shuō guo zhè huà , biàn xìn le Shèngjīng hé Yēsū suǒ shuō de .
22 After he was raised from the dead, his disciples recalled what he had said. Then they believed the scripture and the words that Jesus had spoken.
23 Dāng Yēsū zaì Yēlùsǎlĕng guò Yúyuèjié de shíhou , yǒu xǔduō rén kànjian tā suǒ xíng de shénjī , jiù xìn le tāde míng .
23 Now while he was in Jerusalem at the Passover Festival, many people saw the signs he was performing and believed in his name.
24 Yēsū què bù jiāng zìjǐ jiāo tuō tāmen , yīnwei tā zhīdào wàn rén .
24 But Jesus would not entrust himself to them, for he knew all people.
25 Yĕ yòng bu zháo shuí jiànzhèng rén zĕnyàng . yīn tā zhīdào rén xīnli suǒ cún de .
25 He did not need any testimony about mankind, for he knew what was in each person.
