John 5:20-30

RHE 20 For the Father loveth the Son and sheweth him all things which himself doth: and greater works than these will he shew him, that you may wonder. NIV 20 For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, and he will show him even greater works than these, so that you will be amazed. RHE 21 For as the Father raiseth up the dead and giveth life: so the Son also giveth life to whom he will. NIV 21 For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son gives life to whom he is pleased to give it. RHE 22 For neither does the Father judge any man: but hath given all judgment to the Son. NIV 22 Moreover, the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son, RHE 23 That all men may honour the Son, as they honour the Father. He who honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father who hath sent him. NIV 23 that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, who sent him. RHE 24 Amen, amen, I say unto you that he who heareth my word and believeth him that sent me hath life everlasting: and cometh not into judgment, but is passed from death to life. NIV 24 “Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life. RHE 25 Amen, amen, I say unto you, that the hour cometh, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. NIV 25 Very truly I tell you, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live. RHE 26 For as the Father hath life in himself, so he hath given to the Son also to have life in himself. NIV 26 For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself. RHE 27 And he hath given him power to do judgment, because he is the Son of man. NIV 27 And he has given him authority to judge because he is the Son of Man. RHE 28 Wonder not at this: for the hour cometh wherein all that are in the graves shall hear the voice of the Son of God. NIV 28 “Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice RHE 29 And they that have done good things shall come forth unto the resurrection of life: but they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of judgment. NIV 29 and come out—those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned. RHE 30 I cannot of myself do any thing. As I hear, so I judge. And my judgment is just: because I seek not my own will. but the will of him that sent me. NIV 30 By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me.
