25 So ließ Josua Rahab, die Hure, und das Haus ihres Vaters und alle ihre Angehörigen am Leben; und sie hat in der Mitte Israels gewohnt bis auf diesen Tag, weil sie die Boten versteckte, welche Josua abgesandt hatte, um Jericho auszukundschaften.

But Joshua spared Rahab the prostitute, with her family and all who belonged to her, because she hid the men Joshua had sent as spies to Jericho—and she lives among the Israelites to this day.
