1 Und die Kinder Israel begingen Untreue an dem Verbannten; und Achan, der Sohn Karmis, des Sohnes Sabdis, des Sohnes Serachs, vom Stamme Juda, nahm von dem Verbannten; und der Zorn Jehovas entbrannte wider die Kinder Israel. -

But the Israelites were unfaithful in regard to the devoted things ; Achan son of Karmi, the son of Zimri, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took some of them. So the LORD’s anger burned against Israel.
