25 En de burgers van Sichem bestelden tegen hem, die op de hoogten der bergen lagen legden, en al wie voorbij hen op den weg doorging, beroofden zij; en het werd Abimelech aangezegd.
25 In opposition to him these citizens of Shechem set men on the hilltops to ambush and rob everyone who passed by, and this was reported to Abimelek.
