1 Pecados que requieren una ofrenda por la culpa<br />Entonces el Señor<br /> le dijo a Moisés:

2 «Supongamos que uno de ustedes peca contra su socio y es infiel al Señor<br />. Supongamos que comete una estafa en un trato que involucra un depósito en garantía, o roba, o comete fraude,

3 o encuentra un objeto perdido y luego niega haberlo encontrado, o miente después de haber jurado decir la verdad, o comete cualquier otro pecado como estos.

4 Si has pecado en cualquiera de estas formas, eres culpable. Debes devolver lo que robaste, o el dinero que tomaste mediante la extorsión, o el depósito recibido en garantía, o el objeto perdido que encontraste,

5 o cualquier cosa que hayas obtenido por jurar en falso. Deberás hacer una restitución total a la persona perjudicada más un veinte por ciento adicional. En el mismo día, presentarás una ofrenda por la culpa.

6 Como ofrenda por la culpa al Señor<br />, debes llevar al sacerdote un carnero sin defecto de tu propio rebaño, o puedes comprar uno del mismo valor.

7 Mediante este proceso, el sacerdote te purificará delante del Señor<br />, te hará justo ante él,<br /> y serás perdonado de cualquiera de estos pecados que hayas cometido».

8 Instrucciones adicionales sobre la ofrenda quemada<br />Entonces el Señor<br /> le dijo a Moisés:

9 «Da a Aarón y a sus hijos las siguientes instrucciones con respecto a la ofrenda quemada: la ofrenda quemada se dejará encima del altar hasta la mañana siguiente, y el fuego del altar debe mantenerse encendido durante toda la noche.

10 En la mañana, después de que el sacerdote de turno se haya puesto las ropas oficiales de lino y también la ropa interior de lino, deberá limpiar las cenizas de la ofrenda quemada y ponerlas junto al altar.

11 Luego deberá quitarse estas vestiduras, cambiarse a su ropa normal y llevar las cenizas fuera del campamento a un lugar ceremonialmente puro.

12 Entretanto, el fuego del altar debe mantenerse ardiendo; nunca deberá apagarse. Cada mañana el sacerdote le echará leña nueva al fuego. Luego acomodará la ofrenda quemada sobre él, y también quemará la grasa de las ofrendas de paz.

13 Recuerden, el fuego del altar siempre debe estar encendido; nunca debe apagarse.

14 Instrucciones adicionales sobre la ofrenda de grano<br />»Estas son las instrucciones con respecto a la ofrenda de grano: los hijos de Aarón deben presentar esta ofrenda al Señor<br /> delante del altar.

15 El sacerdote de turno tomará de la ofrenda de grano un puñado de harina selecta humedecida con aceite de oliva, junto con todo el incienso. Quemará esta porción representativa sobre el altar como un aroma agradable al Señor<br />.

17 Recuerden, nunca se debe preparar con levadura; se la he dado a los sacerdotes como su porción de las ofrendas especiales que me presenten. Al igual que la ofrenda por el pecado y la ofrenda por la culpa, la ofrenda de grano es sumamente santa.

18 Cualquiera de los descendientes varones de Aarón podrá comer de estas ofrendas especiales presentadas al Señor<br />; es su derecho perpetuo de generación en generación. Cualquier persona o cosa que toque estas ofrendas quedará consagrada».

19 Procedimiento para la ofrenda de ordenación<br />Entonces el Señor<br /> le dijo a Moisés:

20 «El día en que se unja a Aarón y a sus hijos, ellos deben presentar al Señor<br /> una ofrenda de grano de dos kilos<br /> de harina selecta; se ofrecerá la mitad por la mañana y la otra mitad por la tarde.

21 Debe ser mezclada cuidadosamente con aceite de oliva y cocinada en un sartén. Luego, esta ofrenda de grano la cortarán en rebanadas<br /> y la presentarán como un aroma agradable al Señor<br />.

22 En cada generación, el sumo sacerdote<br /> que tome el lugar de Aarón deberá preparar esta misma ofrenda; le pertenece al Señor<br /> y debe ser quemada totalmente. Esta es una ley perpetua.

23 Tales ofrendas de grano hechas por un sacerdote deberán ser quemadas por completo; de esa ofrenda, nadie deberá comer».

24 Instrucciones adicionales sobre la ofrenda por el pecado<br />Entonces el Señor<br /> le dijo a Moisés:

25 «Da a Aarón y a sus hijos las siguientes instrucciones con respecto a la ofrenda por el pecado: el animal que se presente como ofrenda por el pecado es una ofrenda sumamente santa, y se debe matar en la presencia del Señor<br />, en el lugar donde se matan las ofrendas quemadas.

26 El sacerdote que ofrezca el sacrificio como una ofrenda por el pecado deberá comer su porción en un lugar sagrado dentro del atrio del tabernáculo.

27 Toda persona o cosa que toque la carne del sacrificio será santa. Si la sangre del sacrificio llegara a salpicar la ropa de la persona, la ropa manchada deberá lavarse en un lugar sagrado.

28 Si se usa una olla de barro para hervir la carne del sacrificio, luego habrá que romperla. Si se usa una olla de bronce, esta deberá ser restregada y bien enjuagada.

29 Cualquier varón de la familia del sacerdote podrá comer de esta ofrenda; es sumamente santa.

30 Sin embargo, la ofrenda por el pecado no se deberá comer si su sangre fue llevada al tabernáculo como ofrenda para purificación<br /> en el Lugar Santo. Deberá ser quemada por completo en el fuego.

1 The LORD said to Moses:

2 “If anyone sins and is unfaithful to the LORD by deceiving a neighbor about something entrusted to them or left in their care or about something stolen, or if they cheat their neighbor,

3 or if they find lost property and lie about it, or if they swear falsely about any such sin that people may commit—

4 when they sin in any of these ways and realize their guilt, they must return what they have stolen or taken by extortion, or what was entrusted to them, or the lost property they found,

5 or whatever it was they swore falsely about. They must make restitution in full, add a fifth of the value to it and give it all to the owner on the day they present their guilt offering.

6 And as a penalty they must bring to the priest, that is, to the LORD, their guilt offering, a ram from the flock, one without defect and of the proper value.

7 In this way the priest will make atonement for them before the LORD, and they will be forgiven for any of the things they did that made them guilty.”

8 The LORD said to Moses:

9 “Give Aaron and his sons this command: ‘These are the regulations for the burnt offering: The burnt offering is to remain on the altar hearth throughout the night, till morning, and the fire must be kept burning on the altar.

10 The priest shall then put on his linen clothes, with linen undergarments next to his body, and shall remove the ashes of the burnt offering that the fire has consumed on the altar and place them beside the altar.

11 Then he is to take off these clothes and put on others, and carry the ashes outside the camp to a place that is ceremonially clean.

12 The fire on the altar must be kept burning; it must not go out. Every morning the priest is to add firewood and arrange the burnt offering on the fire and burn the fat of the fellowship offerings on it.

13 The fire must be kept burning on the altar continuously; it must not go out.

14 “ ‘These are the regulations for the grain offering: Aaron’s sons are to bring it before the LORD, in front of the altar.

15 The priest is to take a handful of the finest flour and some olive oil, together with all the incense on the grain offering, and burn the memorial portion on the altar as an aroma pleasing to the LORD.

16 Aaron and his sons shall eat the rest of it, but it is to be eaten without yeast in the sanctuary area; they are to eat it in the courtyard of the tent of meeting.

17 It must not be baked with yeast; I have given it as their share of the food offerings presented to me. Like the sin offering and the guilt offering, it is most holy.

18 Any male descendant of Aaron may eat it. For all generations to come it is his perpetual share of the food offerings presented to the LORD. Whatever touches them will become holy. ’ ”

19 The LORD also said to Moses,

20 “This is the offering Aaron and his sons are to bring to the LORD on the day he is anointed: a tenth of an ephah of the finest flour as a regular grain offering, half of it in the morning and half in the evening.

21 It must be prepared with oil on a griddle; bring it well-mixed and present the grain offering broken in pieces as an aroma pleasing to the LORD.

22 The son who is to succeed him as anointed priest shall prepare it. It is the LORD’s perpetual share and is to be burned completely.

23 Every grain offering of a priest shall be burned completely; it must not be eaten.”

24 The LORD said to Moses,

25 “Say to Aaron and his sons: ‘These are the regulations for the sin offering: The sin offering is to be slaughtered before the LORD in the place the burnt offering is slaughtered; it is most holy.

26 The priest who offers it shall eat it; it is to be eaten in the sanctuary area, in the courtyard of the tent of meeting.

27 Whatever touches any of the flesh will become holy, and if any of the blood is spattered on a garment, you must wash it in the sanctuary area.

28 The clay pot the meat is cooked in must be broken; but if it is cooked in a bronze pot, the pot is to be scoured and rinsed with water.

29 Any male in a priest’s family may eat it; it is most holy.

30 But any sin offering whose blood is brought into the tent of meeting to make atonement in the Holy Place must not be eaten; it must be burned up.
