1 A prophecy: The word of the LORD to Israel through Malachi.
2 Yēhéhuá shuō , wǒ céng aì nǐmen . nǐmen què shuō , nǐ zaì hé shì shang aì wǒmen ne . Yēhéhuá shuō , Yǐsǎo bú shì Yǎgè de gēge ma . wǒ què aì Yǎgè ,
2 “I have loved you,” says the LORD. “But you ask, ‘How have you loved us?’ “Was not Esau Jacob’s brother?” declares the LORD. “Yet I have loved Jacob,
3 È Yǐsǎo , shǐ tāde shānlǐng huāngliáng , bǎ tāde dì yè jiāo gĕi kuàngyĕ de yĕ gǒu .
3 but Esau I have hated, and I have turned his hill country into a wasteland and left his inheritance to the desert jackals.”
4 Yǐdōng rén shuō , wǒmen xiànzaì suī beì huǐhuaì , què yào chóng jiàn huāng feì zhī chù . wàn jūn zhī Yēhéhuá rúcǐ shuō , rén tāmen jiànzào , wǒ bì chāihuǐ . rén bì chēng tāmende dì , wèi zuìè zhī jìng , chēng tāmende mín , wèi Yēhéhuá yǒngyuǎn nǎonù zhī mín .
4 Edom may say, “Though we have been crushed, we will rebuild the ruins.” But this is what the LORD Almighty says: “They may build, but I will demolish. They will be called the Wicked Land, a people always under the wrath of the LORD.
5 Nǐmen bì qīnyǎn kànjian , yĕ bì shuō , yuàn Yēhéhuá zaì Yǐsèliè jìngjiè zhī waì , beì zūn wéi dà .
5 You will see it with your own eyes and say, ‘Great is the LORD—even beyond the borders of Israel!’
6 Miǎoshì wǒ míng de jìsī a , wàn jūn zhī Yēhéhuá duì nǐmen shuō , érzi zūnjìng fùqin , púrén jìngwèi zhǔrén . wǒ jì wèi fùqin , zūnjìng wǒde zaì nǎli ne . wǒ jì wèi zhǔrén , jìngwèi wǒde zaì nǎli ne . nǐmen què shuō , wǒmen zaì hé shì shang miǎoshì nǐde míng ne
6 “A son honors his father, and a slave his master. If I am a father, where is the honor due me? If I am a master, where is the respect due me?” says the LORD Almighty. “It is you priests who show contempt for my name. “But you ask, ‘How have we shown contempt for your name?’
7 Nǐmen jiāng wūhuì de shíwù xiàn zaì wǒde tán shang , qiĕ shuō , wǒmen zaì hé shì shang wūhuì nǐ ne . yīn nǐmen shuō , Yēhéhuá de zhuōzi shì kĕ miǎoshì de .
7 “By offering defiled food on my altar. “But you ask, ‘How have we defiled you?’ “By saying that the LORD’s table is contemptible.
8 Nǐmen jiāng xiāyǎn de xiàn wèi jìwù , zhè bú wèi è ma jiāng quètuǐ de , yǒu bìng de xiànshang , zhè bú wèi è ma . nǐ xiàn gĕi nǐde shĕng zhǎng , tā qǐ xǐyuè nǐ , qǐnéng kàn nǐde qíngmian ma . zhè shì wàn jūn zhī Yēhéhuá shuō de .
8 When you offer blind animals for sacrifice, is that not wrong? When you sacrifice lame or diseased animals, is that not wrong? Try offering them to your governor! Would he be pleased with you? Would he accept you?” says the LORD Almighty.
9 Xiànzaì wǒ quàn nǐmen kĕnqiú shén , tā hǎo shī ēn yǔ wǒmen . zhè wàng xiàn de shì , jì yóu nǐmen jīng shǒu , tā qǐnéng kàn nǐmen de qíngmian ma . zhè shì wàn jūn zhī Yēhéhuá shuō de .
9 “Now plead with God to be gracious to us. With such offerings from your hands, will he accept you?”—says the LORD Almighty.
10 shén yuàn nǐmen zhōngjiān yǒu yī rén guān shang diàn mén , miǎndé nǐmen túrán zaì wǒ tán shang shāo huǒ . wàn jūn zhī Yēhéhuá shuō , wǒ bù xǐyuè nǐmen , yĕ bù cóng nǐmen shǒu zhōng shōu nà gōngwù .
10 “Oh, that one of you would shut the temple doors, so that you would not light useless fires on my altar! I am not pleased with you,” says the LORD Almighty, “and I will accept no offering from your hands.
11 Wàn jūn zhī Yēhéhuá shuō , cóng rì chū zhī dì dào rìluò zhī chù , wǒde míng zaì waì bāng zhōng bì zūn wéi dà . zaì ge chù , rén bì fèng wǒde míng shāoxiāng , xiàn jiéjìng de gōngwù . yīnwei wǒde míng zaì waì bāng zhōng bì zūn wéi dà .
11 My name will be great among the nations, from where the sun rises to where it sets. In every place incense and pure offerings will be brought to me, because my name will be great among the nations,” says the LORD Almighty.
12 Nǐmen què xièdú wǒde míng , shuō , Yēhéhuá de zhuōzi shì wūhuì de , qí shang de shíwù shì kĕ miǎoshì de .
12 “But you profane it by saying, ‘The Lord’s table is defiled,’ and, ‘Its food is contemptible.’
13 Nǐmen yòu shuō , zhèxie shì hédĕng fán suǒ . bìng chī zhī yǐ bí . zhè shì wàn jūn zhī Yēhéhuá shuō de . nǐmen bǎ qiǎngduó de , quètuǐ de , yǒu bìng de ná lái xiànshang wèi jì . wǒ qǐnéng cóng nǐmen shǒu zhōng shōu nà ne . zhè shì Yēhéhuá shuō de .
13 And you say, ‘What a burden!’ and you sniff at it contemptuously,” says the LORD Almighty. “When you bring injured, lame or diseased animals and offer them as sacrifices, should I accept them from your hands?” says the LORD.
14 Xíng guǐzhà de zaì qún zhōng yǒu gōng yáng , tā xǔyuàn què yòng yǒu cánji de xiàn jǐ zhǔ , zhè rén shì kĕ zhòuzǔ de . yīnwei wǒ shì dà jūnwáng , wǒde míng zaì waì bāng zhōng shì kĕ wèi de . zhè shì wàn jūn zhī Yēhéhuá shuō de .
14 “Cursed is the cheat who has an acceptable male in his flock and vows to give it, but then sacrifices a blemished animal to the Lord. For I am a great king,” says the LORD Almighty, “and my name is to be feared among the nations.
