Mark 14:57-67

NKJV 57 Then some rose up and bore false witness against Him, saying, NIV 57 Then some stood up and gave this false testimony against him: NKJV 58 "We heard Him say, 'I will destroy this temple made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.' " NIV 58 “We heard him say, ‘I will destroy this temple made with human hands and in three days will build another, not made with hands.’ ” NKJV 59 But not even then did their testimony agree. NIV 59 Yet even then their testimony did not agree. NKJV 60 And the high priest stood up in the midst and asked Jesus, saying, "Do You answer nothing? What is it these men testify against You?" NIV 60 Then the high priest stood up before them and asked Jesus, “Are you not going to answer? What is this testimony that these men are bringing against you?” NKJV 61 But He kept silent and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked Him, saying to Him, "Are You the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?" NIV 61 But Jesus remained silent and gave no answer. Again the high priest asked him, “Are you the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed One?” NKJV 62 Jesus said, "I am. And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven." NIV 62 “I am,” said Jesus. “And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.” NKJV 63 Then the high priest tore his clothes and said, "What further need do we have of witnesses? NIV 63 The high priest tore his clothes. “Why do we need any more witnesses?” he asked. NKJV 64 You have heard the blasphemy! What do you think?" And they all condemned Him to be deserving of death. NIV 64 “You have heard the blasphemy. What do you think?” They all condemned him as worthy of death. NKJV 65 Then some began to spit on Him, and to blindfold Him, and to beat Him, and to say to Him, "Prophesy!" And the officers struck Him with the palms of their hands. NIV 65 Then some began to spit at him; they blindfolded him, struck him with their fists, and said, “Prophesy!” And the guards took him and beat him. NKJV 66 Now as Peter was below in the courtyard, one of the servant girls of the high priest came. NIV 66 While Peter was below in the courtyard, one of the servant girls of the high priest came by. NKJV 67 And when she saw Peter warming himself, she looked at him and said, "You also were with Jesus of Nazareth." NIV 67 When she saw Peter warming himself, she looked closely at him. “You also were with that Nazarene, Jesus,” she said.
